Watched your game against Sogndal the other Saturday. Wasn't impressed by the centre defensive pairing, although they weren't up against much. Skjelvik didn't look comfortable in the position and Regniussen (wrong spelling probably) looked a bit suspect on his movement with regards to quick passing interchanges. Bendtner didn't really influence the game, looked like he couldn't be arsed playing in all honesty. And despite that it was a relatively comfortable 3-0 win.

Jensen (No.7) looked pretty handy, although he seemed to have loads of time and space on the ball. Decent amount of pace in the wide areas, left hand side in particular. Jetovic, I think played out wide left in that game, dropped his runner and didn't look keen on doing the extra work back. Goalie also has a very handy throw-out which he utilised on a couple of occasions. Formation looked like a 4-3-3 going with the ball and a 4-1-4-1 without the ball. Appeared well organised on this occasion.

Quick question. No league game at the weekend for any teams. Any particular reason for this, considering how advanced in the season you are??

Probably has something to do with NFF trying to make Norwegian teams more competable in Europe.. Probably....... If so, we have really failed... Brann and Haugesund are out. Just Rosenborg in CL-qualifier and ODD in Europe-qualifier left now.

I think it's a sad indication of the way European football has gone that it's Celtic vs Rosenborg in a third qualifying round.

As for the team, I think it will be a toss up between Ntcham and Sviatchenko to start. The 3 at the back would be a brave move given Bendtner's pedigree but by all accounts he's half the player he was.

If he's half the player he was then he must be about 1/100th the player he thought he was!

If Adegbenro joins RBK, he will be able to play Celtic. But the thing is that new players, even if they are good, allways need time. Almost none of our new players have been good from the first match.

The issue with our team is not players, but the coach. His strategy and tactics is like nill. We are currently playing more like a 4-1-5 rather than 4-3-3. Our defence sucks. I can garuante that you will score on a crossbar/freekick/corner.

Welcome pal.....How many will be travelling over from Norway for this?

No chance I'm doing the game over there, last time I was in Norway about 10 years ago it crippled me as the prices for everything so high, I understand Trondheim is a beautiful place so envy anyone that will get the chance to go over to Norway....just take plenty of money

I have no idea mate. It's summer, so you should probably expect a few people to take the trip... I dont live in Trondheim either and i will follow both matches in front of the telly...

This is the kind of game I worry about. Would be typical for this to be the one game that Bendtner turns up for.

    That said, 2-1 Celts.

Expect us to win this tie fairly comfortably, although I'm not overly-enthused at the prospect of playing at home first. I always feel we have a tendency, no matter how good we start the game, to let opposition sides sneak away goals and swing the pendulum their way before the second leg. Malmo comes to mind for this, and we also gave away a cheap goal to Astana at home. Even when we played Be'er Sheva and were absolutely pumping them, I remember how nervous I was just because they pulled one back.

Regardless, I would expect Celtic to go over there and score (hopefully a couple) after a convincing home win.

Feel as though Dembele will really step up in this one, but the main men for me once again will be Rogic and Sinclair. If they're on top form I don't see Rosenborg being able to deal with us at all.

Really need Sviatchenko to put in a big performance too, can't believe how weak he's looked since the New Year derby. There's a really good defender in there and we saw that towards the end of Deila's reign, but he needs to be more aggressive and assertive when challenging for the ball, especially against the strength of Bendtner.

Hopefully 3-0 to the Celtic. Rogic, Dembele, Sinclair.

Don't see any further reports re Dembele injury apart from being linked to Marseille. Think it was just a rumour nothing more.

Celtic TV only at this point to viewers outside UK. Don't know if there will be a stream via Norwegian TV.
