Since about 2005 really, they've been at the top end of European football.

Bayern V Real would have been a great final, BAyern will probably control possession in that game with Real trying to counter and you could see a lot of goals as Bayern do leave themselves open at times and Real arent the best when teams attack them, especially at the Bernabeu game there will probably have 3/4/5 goals in it.

Chelsea V Atletico who knows, Chelsea like to sit in and keep games tight, quite a strong team mentally who wait till the opposition start to panic and catch them out. Atletico are quite defensive at times too so could be a borefest, probably need a team to take an early 2 goal lead in this tie for the other side to have to come out and attack to open it up wouldnt be suprised if it was 0-0 over 2 legs.

If they have to include league cups and glorified friendlies in their honours list then they're a nobody...

I think both of Bayerns games against Utd were the two most boring games of football i've seen in ages, Pep has taking away their flair, he has a bunch of long shot specialists trying to walk the ball into the box everytime. Atletico are much better to watch imo.

    Right you are.

Like some on here I'll be draped in blue and white this weekend supporting our Chelsea brothers.

Never watched they games so can't comment. Suppose it just depends which style of football you prefer to see. I still love watching tiki taka sides like Barcelona and the current Bayern.

Thanks mate:50: Will be a very interesting game. The president travelled to watch the tie against Real Madrid, Nuno Gomes and Rui Costa talked to them before the game, some of the senior players sent the U-19 messages of encouragement... the club is pretty much commited to be the first winner of this competition. The heavy investment in the youth ranks in this last decade - surpassing Sporting scouting domestically - would be nicely complemented by this trophy, I guess.

Barcelona have lot of quality upfront and a established name when it comes to producing talents, so they are favourites. But it's doable.

Has to be a Madrid final surely? Its written!!! Madrid will be some place to be if they both reach the final..........im willing it to happen!

Cant face Mourinho winning again, it would send his ego into orbit, and i cant stand the thought of the terrible cheats Robben and Riberi winning either!

    Go Madrid, and Madrid!
