proud of the performance, im glad they scored because now that puts the emphasis on us to score again, had it stayed at 1-0 we would have become too defensive but who knows what will happen.

 

No matter the outcome now, the Bhoys have done themselves and all of the supporters proud. When you take into consideration the fact that we have such a young and inexperienced side and are playing against the joint top side in Serie A away from home, boasting the likes of Di Natale in their ranks, that was a great first half performance.

We can't really blame our players if they go on to lose now. We basically dominated possession for a large portion of that half and the first real chance they get, it just happens to fall to their top scorer and one of the most lethal strikers in Europe.

As long as we keep playing the way we are we could do it. Ki, Cha, Mulgrew and Forrest are playing well at getting at them and keeping the ball and we have Hooper to stick it in the pokey and Kayal and Brown to clear up.

 

Just saw their goal again, ball was sliced really heavily. How could anyone in the Celtic defence know that was going to happen. Ball was aimed at back post not where it ended up. Just bad luck.

Brown is a passenger, as our captain he looks * terrible. Get a bit decent attacking movement in his position and we can win this.

Wanyama needs to be put into centre mid, clear the * ball and don't try and play your way out of defence, Brown you are technically poor im sorry, but he has been invisible so far in the match, short passes gifting udinese possession.

Apart from that, this has been one of our best performances away in europe against top class opposition for a long long time.

Its not over yet. Keep believing. We've scored one, Hooper missed a sitter, Samaras was through on goal and was wrongly pulled back for a foul. On another day, we would probably have had three first half goals.
