I hope Dembele will be availabe but we have to mark their wingers.Their only capable players who can cause damage are their wingers.We have to put Tierney LB,Gamboa RB to stop them,with Brown protecting CB and step on their area to score.We have to score with pursuits and battles inside their defensive line like McGregor did between them.

I'd go 3 at the back personally and go all out for the win. Isn't this what Brendan lives for anyway? Attacking we'll score more than you football?

Well now we need it more than ever..

 

Trust me, I know their team and how they play.We have quality and we are much better than them,they are aware of it having their own plans.Last season in their League they only conceded 12 goals overall.Brendan said their defense will be more vulnerable next game because they will come out to attack but that's wrong,their defense always is like that and it will be the same formation when we press them(10-0-0 formation).It's not so simple,going score a goal and we beat them constantly.Did you see how they scored?Solid defense throughout the game,and fast counterattacks and they got the equalizer.We have to be solid and bold to break them because their tactic requires for us to be patient.If we go with frustration and anxiety nothing will change.

 

Need Dembers up front with Eddy, best bet at avoiding getting 0-0’d to death.

im not sure they will come all out to attack i think maybe brendans being clever there

he knows they can go through on the result at it stands so he knows they will likely keep it tight

we either go gung ho 100mph for a quick goal, or we try and play a dominant possession patient game and move them all about the place to try and get good openings for goal scoring opportunities

either way we are vulnerable to conceding a goal

the best way of defending in my opinion if you havent got great defenders but defenders that are ball players is to keep possession of the ball because if you have it then the opposing team aint gonna score, it will be difficult in 30oC heat thats for sure but the alternative is it would be even harder to chase AEK and the ball around the park, remember they are much more aclimatised to play in hot conditions than us

Couldn't break them down at home against 10 men. I cannot see us doing it away and definitely not without conceding. Hope I'm wrong though. Heart says 2-1 hoops. Head says 2-0 AEK

 

Were not good enough to sit back and invite pressure onto that backline , we will need to take the game to them and play our own game added to the fact a 0-0 does them so we need to score.

I'd risk Dembele' too,

 

Moussa ain't gonna make it, let's hope big Ed is on form that night, that'll give us a chance.
