Let's just assume (for the moment) that Celtic FC can justify giving extra tickets to season ticket holders...

    why 2 extra tickets ?

there is not enough spare tickets to allow ALL of the season ticket holders to be allocated an extra ticket each so some will miss out while others get 2

that can't be fair in anybody's book

Best way is to have a voucher system ( which season book holders would start at an advantage over other fans)... important to have games against dundee or similar lower profile games as a large part of the system...

i would even go so far as to include an away game

priority could then be given to those who attend regularly..

i am in thailand and cannot attend matches but allowing one person to buy three tickets is DEFINITELY NOT RIGHT... they only have one * and deserve one seat.. if they want more tickets then there is nothing to stop them joining the queue with the rest of the non season ticket holders...

AND a few tickets should be allocated to each supporters clubs on condition that they are 'drawn' fairly amongst it's members.

feel sorry for lots of fans .... just hope to * i can get a decent stream and trust someone on here will upload video for those who can't watch live

my message to Peter and the board.... GET IT SORTED BEFORE THE LAST EIGHT :50:

Down the Gallowgate is a shout but it is likely to be packed. If you just continue down into the merchant city there is a number of pubs including O'Neills which is open late

Celtic just realised statement online talking about the amount of people who wanted tickets but didn't get. They have said to them to buy season tickets for next year. Lol. More or less what people were saying. They gave st holders the chance to buy extra tickets to increase the amount of st books. Fair enough shout I suppose but still feel sorry for people who can't afford a st book,or for people like me who live In Ireland and can't afford a book and then 100 quid a time to travel to a game. I'm lucky that I'm in a club and have hot tickets.

So a season ticket holder has a mate who hasn't been to a game all season but buys his mate a ticket for this game meanwhile lots of fans who bought the 3 match package for the group stage miss out. How is that fair?

There are all sorts of scenarios we could look at.

As for the bolded bit, I presume that season ticket holders could only buy the 3 match package for themselves and not for two other people as well? There's no problem with that. Season ticket holders should get first option on tickets for big matches, I have already conceded that point.

As I've already pointed out, season ticket holders already get "first dibs". They get a chance to buy a ticket for themselves for big matches before anyone else does.

This new system is basically giving season ticket holders "first dibs" 3 times over. It's a crap system.

Celtic have enough fans who can afford season tickets who dont get one because they dont want to go to SPL games. Which is fair enough, they dont need to but when they greet about not getting to big games, they have no excuse.

I know 3 fans from Glasgow who have season tickets and have only been to half the games, two of them havent been to a League game since about November and the other has only been to 1 game since then but I think they deserve their European tickets as atleast theyve paid for their season tickets.

But why 3 tickets for a single session ticket holder? His family and friends haven't forked out and the ticket privileges should not extend beyond a single seat. Why should a friend or relative of a season ticket holder get profit over match-going fans?

Bizarre and totally unfair way to distribute tickets.

I think its because they are potential new season ticket holders
Who is more likely to buy a season ticket, a guy whos pals/family are season ticket holders already or guys who cant afford season tickets? clearly it is the guy whos pals/family are already going... they could get one and go with them.
So its probably well thought out, that the best candidates for new season tickets are people who know season ticket holders already. People without the money for season tickets who only come out for big games CL, Cup finals, Trophy Presentations etc as harsh as it is to say are most likely going to always remain like that.

Udinese have been poor but even without Pirlo Juve have steamrolled them tonight.

Pogba is an outstanding player, but Wanyama still isn't far off him IMO
