The antagonistic 'Juve fans' on here are obviously sevco fans on a wind-up, but you can't dismiss Juve as being anything other than a huge club. They're comfortably the biggest club in Italy, in terms of the amount of supporters they have.

They have plenty of supporters worldwide as well, their sympathisers among the Italian diaspora would match the amount of Celtic supporters from the Celtic diaspora.

Off the top of my head, I reckon the board is about 50% Glaswegian, 30% from the rest of Scotland/Eire, and 20% from abroad.

I could be completely wrong though.

    That is simply not possible.

There are no such thing as "Rangers" fans because "Rangers" no longer exists.

I think there are fans from both sides talking complete rubbish. From my point of view I didn't want to draw celtic because there is potential for the home(for you) leg to be a tough night for juve. Then in turin i'd be lying if I thought you would beat us. I don't underestimate celtic I want us to reach the next stage and I feel far from certian that we will.

But also from what I have read here many celtic fans are underestimating juve as well. You have probably heard that we are decent now but the potential in this team is there to WIN the CL- that is a realsitic dream. You won against barcelona which is a good effort and if I were a celtic fan i'd be full of hope- but make no mistake these two legs will be a different sort of challenge to barcelona but that doesn't mean it will be easier for you.

I read someone saying that celtic's coaching and tactical set up is superior to juventus which is absolute tripe. You have a low revenue compared to most of the teams in the CL but so do we, our team is made up of cheap players/youth products yet we bossed chelsea who's front 4 is worth more than out entire team. I'm not saying you are not tactically sound but it's silly to say we are not.

I watch juve every week and I believe conte's juve has the potential to be the greatest juve team ever but we aren't quite there yet so we don't get the same respect as man utd or barcelona, however I believe in 2 years this will change.

I just hope you're ready for a tough night because I am, anyone who knows this juve knows that everything you will try to do, we will try to do it better. You will be well organised and you will work hard, but so will we, our players will run until they drop and then run some more. We have quality all over the field and we have a system that we know and have almost perfected. So to those people with the "we beat barca who are juve" attitude I think you are in for a nasty suprise. Through all this football is a random game and anything can happen so i'm not saying we will win 100% or 80%, or 50%, I just put faith in the coach and players and hope that they perfom and progress-to those few celtic(and juve) fans who are being confontational and also disrespcetful to the work these teams have done- you should keep quiet as it is pathetic.

P.S All you mentioning juve as cheaters , you know nothing. We win on the pitch and if we beat you it will be on the pitch.

We just have to go out and boss the game in midfield, get the ball to Tony Watt and let the wee man terrorize them.

If you have ever been to turin then you have been more than me. I haven't had the oppurtunity to go yet because I can't afford it.

I dislike this attitude that those support local clubs are more loyal and are "true" supporters. I support juve and thats just how I grew up so to me the fact that I have only seen them play once is just an unfortunate reality however that will change. I want to move to turin asap but I have to finish my degree first.

I can telll you there has been no glory in being a juve fan for a long time, I still watched them when they were terrible, losing constatly and changing coaches for fun. But now they play well I still follow them as much as I ever did but now it's more ups than downs.

If you think that I am a glory hunter then I can't change your mind. All I know is that beyond my family and freinds, nothing is more important to me that juventus.

It is funny that the local fans seem to be a lot more pleasant than the ones that aren't.

Of course some of our fans are going to think we can beat you after what we have achieved so far. So why are you getting upset about it and calling us names? You are on a Celtic message board, it's not as if we are going onto you're forum saying you are *.

Look I don't think we should call all of these Juve fans here Glory Hunters you want to know why??? It is because every football fan that lives far from the team they supports are known as glory hunters. But after a while they learn the team and when they stick with the team they are no less of a fan then the dude whos apartment is across the street from the stadium. I started out as a glory hunter for Celtic back in 06 when they played DC but really didn't follow/support until 2010.

I am not upset if i'm honest I'm just discussing football and it would be good to hear the reasons why you think you can win apart from building up celtic by insulting juve. If you read my post I never insulted celtic or the majority of it's fans, however those who are acting like they are children should stop and think.

I don't think that you shouldn't think you can win, of course you can. But justify it by saying good things about your club instead of just writing us off as cheaters or a bunch of arrogant xyzs

Maybe you're getting him confused with somebody else but I don't see anywhere in his posts that he's called us names?
