First off let me say, as Juventus fan I'm very happy we drew the weakest team in the competition, lets not delude ourselves here Celtic technically, physically and athletically are light years behind this current Juventus side, who if you asked the top sides in Europe want to avoid at all costs now.

I think it's clear by your misguided and completely far fetched replies to this thread, none of you have watched Serie A football in over a decade nor seen Juventus for that matter. Results against the current European champions and a Shakhtar team who had a more impressive home record than Celtic, have much better players and play a style of football that Juventus tend to struggle against were beaten quite comfortably.

Your replies in a comparison of players once again is laughable as there's not one single Celtic player who'd make it into any of the top sides in Europe nor are any subject to any bids from any of the elite clubs in Europe either.

In regards to the comments about how safe a city Turin is. Few on this forum have been I think that's clear enough and not only that considering Glasgow is the pit of the UK I feel very few of you are from the Glaswegian area also.

Lets put it this way, If Juventus turn up Celtic cannot do anything, your not good enough that's the honest truth.

Think about this, why did every team want you in the draw? That's because you're the weakest.

Shame February is so long away as quite frankly the mental state of this forum will be in meltdown after the game.

    Thank you and goodnight.

Welcome to the forum mate. :50:

I'm glad to see you haven't put Celtic as number 1 in the teams you wanted to get. With only Barcelona winning at Celtic Park in 24 Champions League games you can see why we believe we can beat anyone at home - even the mighty Juventus. The ferocious atmosphere raises our players to another level, and can make top players make mistakes like we seen with Xavi when we went 2-0 up on Barcelona, how often do you see Xavi slice the ball completely?

I personally rate Juve an excellent side, watched you many times last season as you brushed aside many good teams on the way to the Serie A Title. Lots of top players, but Vidal particurly stood out in the games I watched - awesome player. :50:

Do you have any idea how many Juve fans will be making the trip over to Glasgow? As many players have said, including Messi & Iniesta recently - Celtic Park is the best atmosphere they've ever experienced. Your fans will enjoy the trip no matter the result I think. It is something special. I'm really looking forward to the tie :celt_2: Can see us running you close but think Juve will just have too much quality TBH.

And that post sums up that you don't know anything about Celtic, we are by far the most physical team left in the competition.

Iniesta summed it up best when he said he's neer seen a team that physially built, a team of giants he put it i believe.

Because one player says it, it surely must be true? You're a team full of I talented brutes who kick people.

There's a difference, I bet Mr Iniesta couldn't keep a straight face when saying that.

Away you go. Deluded, arrogant *. You have some cheek signing up for this forum, entitled TalkCeltic, and then doing nothing but slating Celtic. Stick to your own scum forums.

If Barcelona were to play Juventus today, I'm guessing your lot would get * hammered. We are one of the few sides in the last few years to actually beat them, so underestimate us at your peril, idiot.

Italians are one of the worst nations in the world for cheating and match fixing too (proven), so I wouldn't be surprised if Juventus got through the two legs solely through paying the referee off.

A Juve fan yes, from Italy no. However I've probably been to more Juventus games than the majority of this forum have visited Glasgow in their lives.

I don't think there is much difference between ourselves and galatasary who I would fancy us to beat over two legs. Also Juventus are most DEFINITELY NOT physically and athletically stronger than Celtic. Techincally YES by miles but not physically.

That's one thing that has helped keep us in the competition is our fitness (second to none defending against barcelona for 180 mins), our strength from players such as Wanyama etc able to boss players time and time again.

Serie A is a pretty poor league now in comparison to the bundesliga, la liga and the EPL. I think that's backed up by the fact domestically Juventus are sosososoo strong even though they are not world beaters like barca, madrid or man utd. Put them in the EPL, la liga and bundesliga and they would most definitely not have that record.
think it's clear from this statement you do not watch celtic games... wanyama has the potential to play for ANY side in the world.

Not a very nice statement to call glasgow the pit of the UK. Yes it has it's rough areas but i can assure you if you were in glasgow for the game against us there is minimal chance you'll get attacked for wearing Juve colours. Infact i guarantee you you won't at all. Same can't be said about italy sadly as the football hooliganism there is absolutely rife.

We'll wait and see! I love the arrogance, it usually comes back to haunt people like you :celt_2: We've seen lots of it this season from the spartak, benfica and barcelona fans:celt_2::celt_2::celt_2:

Couldn't help but laugh at that, we beat Barcelona! we've not be out played in any of our games. Clearly you don't know one thing about Celtic.

Shaktar have a better home record than Celtic? You do know only one team has ever beaten Celtic at home in the Champions league don't you?

Get to * you wee glory hunter. You are not even Italian, probably a Man United convert. does it make you feel like a 'real' Juventus fan to come on here and attempt to slate us? Pathetic.

Then go look at the quotes from Xavi, Lionel Messi and Tito Vilanova.

There is a reason we are were we are at the moment, although I suspect you aren't actually an Italian Juventus fan.

'Brutes' we have one of the lowest fouling rates in the competition, lower than Juventus actually.
