Hi guys, explain to me what is saying Lennon.... "Juventus has defended all the time of match, as they are usual to do in the Serie A"
Ahahahah... clearly he has never seen a single match of this Juventus (has always 70-75% of ball possession, 15-20 strikes every match, 50 goals in 24 matches) and i think that he has to be fired by the club after this assertion, because he arranged the match without view a single game of his opponents. Well done Lennon!!! Cool!!!

He was talking about the manner in which you were defending.

If you're going to try and criticise try and get it right :56:

Not sure if Lennon really said Juve regularly play defensive football. If he did I reckon he has never watched juve playing in the past 2 years.

It is the exact opposite, Juve play very attacking football and retain possession of the ball for most part of the game, sometimes >70%. What they really struggle with is scoring, we need to create a monster number of chances per game to be able to score, our strikers are just not great goalscorers.

In the game against Celtic quite the opposite happened, THAT was the very big surprise of that night.

    He didn't.

He was talking about the cynical defending.

It's not my purpose. I reported just what italian magazines are saying.
My opinion about the match is that you had a great play, but a match lasts 90 minutes and you squandered all your anergy in 65 minutes. If the game had lasted other 10 minutes it ended with a goleada. You clearly don't know Juventus so well, yet other teams made this mistake and all of them had the same fate. If you think to come in Turin with this mentality you risk a huge ruin. Juventus had won 80% of the matches during the second half, it is not a fortuity.
However, good luck for next game, may the best win:86:

Italian magazines are talking * then.

And don't tell me what I do or do not know; that was not a normal Juventus performance on Tuesday night and if you think it was then you clearly don't know Juventus too well. They had little of the ball and were very clinical.

That is not normal for Juventus.

This. Not a normal performance at all, it's the first time I've seen Conte's Juve play this way. Credit to Celtic for playing very well and not allowing them to play the way they usually do, credit to Juve for adapting so well.

I wrote the same upper. Usually Juventus take the match control by ball possession. Usually, not ever. Yet other teams tried to make the match against Juventus, like Genoa and the game ended 3-1 for us, or Rome 4-0 for us.
Agains Celtic it was difficult to take possession of the ball, cause your great pressing and aggression, so Juventus fit the match for 60 minutes and then... well, you know the score.
Trust me, this Juventus is a great team, one of the best juventus I have ever seen. Nothing is left to chance, and if you think to come in Turin with the same tattics... oh, good luck, you risk a massacre.
Ah, we will recover Asamoah and probably Chiellini for next match, so don't worry you will see another Juventus, better and better.:86:

Lennon is a better manager than Conte :50:

Your manager could not have achieved what our manager has with the limited funds that he is given every season.

Getting to the last 16 of the UCL at his first attempt, beating Barcelona, the list goes on. All of this with players that nobody knew before they signed with us.

Easy there. It's impossible to compare the two, but what Conte has done with Juve is pretty staggering. He inherited a team that placed 7th for two years in a row and won the league unbeaten at his first attempt.

    It's impossible to compare.

Celtic has far more money than the rest of the SPL and we didn't go through a season unbeaten. I don't believe Conte could do what Lenny has done for us but I don't believe Lenny could do what Conte has done for Juve.

Both would succeed at both teams though.

Yes, but in a league that, as a whole, has more money than the SPL. Juve don't really have more money than Milan, Inter etc. It's only now that we have our own stadium that we are generating more revenue than other Italian clubs.

I never said anywhere that Conte was not a good manager, just that I believe Lennon could have done the same job, with the same funds.
