Your team is the ugliest most corrupt team in Italian football and I hope Roma * you up the hole on Saturday night. You are match fixing, cheating * who robbed us tonight.

Whoever you draw in the last 8 I hope yous get *. And I mean that.

But in my opinion Lennon should have seen what was going on tonight. Ambrose(although he shouldn't have even started) should have came off in all honestly. Forrest was terrible and I don't know how he lasted the whole game

We brought off brown and commons wh I thought played well on the night. We brought on kayal watt and Matthews who should have started, but well learn from our mistakes, we could have won by more and I believe with the right team we would have.


P.s I know the ref was most to blame

 

The only thing I'm disappointed with is the scoreline. We did not deserve to be beaten 3-0, we played better football than Juventus and were simply the better team for about 70 minutes. Those last 20 minutes we switched off a bit, which is something you CANNOT do at this level, not even for a minute. We were punished for it as Juventus were very clinical with their finishing tonight. The ref was terrible although the scoreline cannot be fully blamed on him. We still conceded 3 fair goals. I'm very proud of the team for giving it a great effort, because even I didn't expect us to play as well as we did. We were for 70 minutes, as Martin O'Neil would say, "Absolutely extraordinary".

That's why we didn't play good with Celtic, only 3 meatballs.

 

Bit deflated this morning. We set ourselves high expectations by qualifying from the group stages and while Juventus won`t go much further, they have just that bit more quality.

Cannot fault the players effort, although we made some crucial errors. We just lacked that bit of quality. We need every player to be fully prepared and at the optimum of performance to compete with better opponents; we lacked that in a few positions. Thought the starting formation was good but shot ourselves in the foot early on and I felt we needed more of an attacking threat from the midfield (a runner like Marchiso, getting beyond the forwards).

While folk can say sour grapes about the refs, it beggars belief to not once but twice notice infringements. Then after booking both parties, completely ignore what you`ve just noticed seconds earlier.

From an individual who expected 6 points from the group stage, I ultimately have nothing but pride from what we have shown in Europe.

Juventus will not get past the last 8. Mark my words. Regardless of scoreline, a 'diddy team' outplayed your glorious 'Juventus' with the likes of Pirlo and Buffon for the majority of the game. If you can't see that, you are either biased, or know nothing about football.

Do you think Juventus deserved to win tonight? And do you think what Lichsteiner was doing was acceptable??
