There is always a tiny chance, but unfortunately, I feel like it is just that in this case; a tiny chance.

I would absolutely love nothing more than to be proved wrong, but every player would genuinely need to play the game of their lives (even better than the Barca games) to pull it off.

I don't see Juve getting too complacent though, as much as I hate the *. They will try and finish it off over there and I'd be surprised if they rested a lot of first team players.

Probably end up winning the second leg 2-1 or something, but you never know.

So I take it is legal to virtually rugby tackle players at corners over in Italy is it? Bollocks. Disgusting tactics and they cannot be defended at all. Referee was a disgrace, I don't normally like blaming refs however tonight I cannot help it. Shocking.

You had me right up to the last part.

Hooper - or any player for that matter - has every right to stand there with Buffon. It's marking the 'keeper and there is nothing wrong with it at all. 'Keepers get FAR too much protection these days from referees and nothing had changed here.

What WAS wrong, though, was Lichtsteiner behaviour in hauling Hooper around the place, arms around him dragging him into the goal and the his disgusting behaviour by pushing another of our players to the ground. He should have been sent off in all honesty and if the ref had any balls he would have done that.

We were brilliant for large periods of the game, yet the majority of Europe seeing that result will assume we were turned over.

That is one of the weaknessed refs i have ever seen. Never witnessed a ref command such little respect or control over the players on the field. They had a free reign to do whatever they liked right infront of his eyes to the extent they were rubbing it in his face that he is a spineless *.

There has to be repercussions for his actions or lack there of, should I say.

    Question for the mods/admin...

Will this thread also be used for the second leg or will a new thread be created?

I thought I saw a message left earlier, before the game began, saying that this would be used for both games. Might have imagined it though. My brain has been fried in the past few hours.

No, mate, this guy's been here a while and he's not a troll, he's decent.
@ ejuventus: we've had a few Juve trolls on here tonight so things are a bit tense.

I'm sorry for them as well, I was talking against racism... here I read it from some Celtic fans, if it came also from Juve fans then I would be ashamed from them too.

Mulgrew wants to play in midfield, he's got used to it now and clearly has the touch, imagination and mobility to play there. Efe actually only made a few mistakes and a lot of the play was going through him first half.

It's just unfortunate that his mistakes were so blatantly highlighted and you know he did have the spirit about him to come back and play because he is so committed to the cause.

I think we made an error in thinking he could last the whole match, but the injury to Lustig threw things. I'd have had Ledley on for Lustig, but it's just having to make a change like that, Lustig was such a key player in the game.

Normally i'd be like we should have played someone else here or there, but we went with what we had and came close. Juve were confused out their, we hit the game with energy, passion, commitment and kept the ball really well.

Next leg we'll have more options, and we have the added advantage of them now being so sure the tie is over. I don't know why, but i don't think it is.

The referee in the next game will be watching for them doing the Gay Gordon's at set pieces:)

What about Pirlo telling the ref that Brown stamped on Lichtencuntstiener when the fud actually pushed Brown?

And strikers always stand in front of keepers at set pieces as well

This is what annoys me the most. Scoreline does not tell the story of the game at all. This supposedly magnificent Juventus side looked very average tonight, and we should have came away with a better result.

Yeah, the scoreline does look very harsh.

I hope when the result is sent around the world that everyone knows the full story. Juventus deserve to be found out (again) for the cheats that they are.

Or maybe even just have switched Wanyama and Ambrose about. That way if Ambrose * up a bit (which he did) he would have had someone covering him.

Juventes looked * tonight because we made them look *. Make no mistake about it - they are one of the favourites for the title

So weird saying all this considering we lost 3-0 but whatever

I appreciate this answer, even if I don't agree totally.
Of course your forward tried to do his job, but you can't expect that Juventus' defence let him do it freely.
I don't believe that your player would have stayed always in the same piece of field. Of course he made little mouvements to make disturb on Buffon.

The simulations I called weren't related to this situation of play.
