He won't start but I think if were winning 1-0 up until the last 20 minutes he'll stick him on to try and get a second knowing Lenny.

Anyone think he might leave Forrest as a Peter Lovenkrands today? He was * but he destroyed our 352...

Would you lot prefer a 2-1 win or 0-0 draw?

Probably the draw... we don't want to concede.

Hail Hail, the Celts are here
    I'm so excited, I expect a win !!!

I hope that Celtic won't concede, so a 1-0 win would be more than amazing, it could be Samaras, Hooper or any unexpected player like Wanyama.

I think the key role in this game is the duel between Wanyama and Pirlo,

    mon the Hoops !!!

Think I'd take that though I'd prefer Ambrose to make it and Lustig and Matthews fighting over right back.

Would also make it more lopsided:

    Forster
    Matthews Ambrose Wilson Mulgrew
    Forrest Wanyama Brown Ledley..---->.......
    ...........................................Samaras
    Hooper

In effect, 3 central midfielders but enough cover so that Ledley can cover Samaras, who I want to relieve of any defensive work. Two banks of four when defending really.

I genuinely think he would be useful as that super sub, aye. He would also be more than capable of giving Caceres a torrid time if he pushed up higher than Peluso/Giaccherini/the LWB was deep.

Set pieces will be key again, without Chiellini and any real presence up front that comes back for defending set pieces that is one area we are a * of a lot stronger in. Some good deliveries from Charlie Bhoy will be dangerous as * when we've got Vic to aim for with them only really having Barzagli as a challenger (Bonucci's not exactly brilliant in the air, far far better with his feet).

Remember when Milan came here in the last 16 tie?

Incredibly dull game, they kept us at arms length for 90 mins and left with a goalless draw. Juve could do the same. The have the quality in defence to shut us out, and the quality in midfield to keep possession.

Different team, different philosophy. Whether it ends up 0-0 or not, they are far more of an attacking team than the stereotype suggests, especially given that most continental teams can build the attack from the back whereas over here we have a tendency to get jittery if the defence carry the ball too much don't move their arses getting the game going faster :smiley-laughing002:. Problem is they seriously lack the world class quality up front that they have elsewhere in the team. They are more than capable at keeping possession, but Conte usually prefers to go for the win. He used to play 4-2-4 formations and everything the nutjob :smiley-laughing002:

I genuinely think there is a gap there in the back three now that Chiellini is out, Caceres is good but not brilliant.

1-0 is the best scoreline we can realistically expect to get tonight.

We can't afford to concede an away goal.
