Nah. We'll sit back and hit them with all we've got when the opportunities arise. Glory, or nothing. 3 points are crucial.

A win guarantees EL and I think we'll get it, Ajax didn't look great last week.

Not 100 percent sure about team but I want Kayal and Ledley in midfield, Forrest and Sammy out wide and Stokes/Balde/both over Pukki

Be interesting to see how we play, that pressing high up the pitch rattled Ajax last time.

Play to our own strengths and take the chances we get and we can get another win under our belts.

I can't get my head around why you rate Stokes so highly, he's not been that good in the CL (If you don't count shakter at home). I would probably start Balde ahead of Stokes if he plays good against utd.

There a poor mans Barcelona...we've dealt with the real McCoy so these imposters should be a walk in the park

So you would play Balde if he performs against DU ahead of a guy who has been performing against yer DU's for years?

What's your thinking behind that one?

Stokes isn't scoring goals in europe and that's his main job. Balde also lokes more direct than Stokes from the look of it so far and we might need that.

    Fair enough.

Balde also looks like he couldn't trap a bag of cement and might become a weak link in Amsterdam when we are trying to break quickly.

That shows us how weak we are up front atm imo. We should take a look at that Icelandic striker from heerenveen. He's been playing great so far in the dutch leauge. :fear:

I trust Lennon will pick whoever is best for the job, be that Balde, Stokes or even Pukki.

Stokes for me....he's our best striker but perhaps more importantly, his work rate is very good and we can't allow for any passengers in this game....I don't feel that Baldé will press their defence as much...However, he could be a huge player coming of the bench for us if we need a goal

    BOBO

Bring Stokes on for Kayal/Ledley or Mulgrew if we need a goal and play him off Bobo. Bobo's ability in the air at set peices and to get on the end of any crosses from Forrest and Sammy could be vital.

Stokes and Pukki could probably hold the ball up better than Bobo but they probably wont get on any crosses and probably wont get much support off the midfield either.

    Balde's ability in the air?

He has been woeful in the air for us, he gave away about 4 fouls contesting high balls against Hibs.
