I was looking at Celtic TV's coverage of the game. When you are in the general subscription page, viewing it via mobile, it clearly states, 'The only place to watch the game live'. When you click through the page, only if you pay attention to what you are reading, you then see 'no live match coverage just audio...so what exactly is the purpose of Celtic TV? £40 a year for replays and audio is a complete joke.
'Live and exclusive only on Celtic TV, the hoops welcome Legia Warsaw to the BT Murrayfield stadium in the second leg of CL and we don't want you to miss a kick...exclusive rights to broadcast outside the UK and Ireland...'
Why is this the case? Surely the BT stadium could broadcast it on BT Sport? What is stopping Celtic broadcasting it to the supporters in the UK and Ireland????:31::47:
Celtic, considering the venue is Murrayfield, should show some sort of good will and broadcast the game to all fans free because the fans are the people who keep the club going. They offer absolutely no incentives for fans or good will. Buy a brick, buy a season ticket and buy a kit at £120?!
How about Celtic FC buy a player!
BBC Scotland and the SPFL wonder why there is no investment in the game. When BBC arent showing the game at Murrayfield, it really says it all. Now I have to sit through either commentary or some dodgy stream. Absolutely ridiculous!

Again, Celtic showing absolutely no good will to the people who will fill the stadium should the qualify? Complete joke. It really is sickening. I buy merchandise, go to games and because I am working and unable to travel...and I live in Ireland...I can't watch the game?!
Even if I subscribe and pay £40 today...I can't watch the game.
Nonsense. -
After last weeks horrific performance, the very least they could have done us let the fans watch the game for free on the Celtic website, but instead they want you to trek through to Edinburgh to see it. I'm seriously concerned that we're into August now and we've not spent a penny on players and its looking increasingly likely that Forster and Van Dijk are both being sold, so why exactly should we as fans spend a penny on the club this season when we are shaping up to shafted left, right and centre. I hope I'm way off the mark but things aren't looking good.

It's okay though. As long as the happy clappers are content with the balance sheets then everything's brilliant.

Talkceltic need to articulate the views of supporters in this case. We literally have nothing to shout about. The league will trundle along as usual. Without champions league footy, it is very very difficult for Celtic supporters club to offer any incentive to travelling fans.
Think about it...in some clubs you got a Rangers ticket based on your attendance to games. That incentive has now gone.
We have the CL to attract people and for clubs to use as an incentive...yet our board present no incentives for us as supporters or for the players for that matter. Celtic will always be a 'big club' because of its history but at the moment, we arent making any history at all. -
They're gonna do what North Korean tv does, paste together loads of clips of us scoring, edit it together nicely and tell us all we won.
-
This has nothing to do with Celtic, it's a live media rights issue with UEFA.

Why are so many people on here * and moaning....when was the last time celtic was on tv.
Last round was the first time i have seen celtic on tv in years.
Even when stv claimed to be showing half the games in the cl groups we got one * game.
Clubs in scotland can't afford fans to be sitting at home for games. -
We may not qualify for the Champions league but our usual moaners on here will continue to be Celtic fans, or so they claim .

IF you subscribe you should be able to watch the game no matter where you live, its a bit *.
Celtic's thinking will be that if they show it live in the UK it could lower attendances at the actual game with people choosing to sit at home and watch it rather than go to the game. You can kind of see where they're coming from, I wouldnt want to see our attendance taking at hit. Although I do sympathize with people in Ireland and far away parts of Scotland who cant get to the game. -

BREAKING NEWS! Tonight's exclusively live match on www.celticfc.tv is available to ALL Subscribers, including UK & Ireland!
KO 7.45pm Celtic Park time.
Got that off facebook. -
When you continue on the website you see it clearly states
Celtic v Legia Warsaw
Kick-off 7:45pm UK Time. There will be no live video in the UK & Ireland. -
They want as many people through the gate as possible and if it's on TV more people will be content to watch from the pub. It sucks but it makes sense. Just suck it up and find a stream.
-
The hosting server would melt down if they broadcast it for free. I doubt they have the capacity to allow it for one match.
I might be wrong but it is a possibility. Look at that newspapers effort at broadcasting the Scotland match online. -

The Twitter account said a little while ago that it will be live video to all subscribers in Ireland & UK, which is unusual, but perhaps they're responding to lack of coverage?
