My Granda had a home bar back in the day, used to love sitting there with a ginger beer, or better yet, a shandy Bass in one of those pint glasses pretending to be all grown up.

I never stood a chance at escaping the booze really. :giggle1:

My Granda used to give and get directions by pubs. "Aye Andy, doon tae the Stirrup Cup and go straight on tae Chapmans then hang a left.

I have 4 or 5 of those at home.
    Love drinking out of them.

When you find an obscure song again after not hearing it in about 20 years

And can still rattle off the words no bother

Dreading Christmas shopping in town today. Got in and no ones panicking so not too busy. Car parked, clothes shops, sit in Costa coffee. Hey presto an hour and a half and home.

@Aidan O'Shea will know who I’m on about.

There is an old boy who ‘busks’ in Dundee playing the harmonica. He’s a belt with all different keys ready to go. Fast Eddie I call him.

He’s a * belter and ‘sings’ too. Just walked past him there and he was doing the Dad’s Army theme :56: :56: proper going for it. Makes me happy every time without fail

I've honestly thought about this a lot.

Schools should teach everything in song form. No matter how long you go without hearing a song you still know the words when you hear it again.

Can you say the same about algebra?

Mad * outside the Overgate :56: I thought he was generally renowned as ‘Fast Eddie’?

A boy collapsed outside the shopping centre about a year and a half ago and Eddie was making ambulance siren noises with his harmonica and his mouth :52::56:

Well into December and it is a lovely crisp 8 degrees here in Belfast with the sun shining. Beautiful walking weather.
