The main area is just off my spine at the base of my back, but that is the main pain it shoots down my backside also, you should defo get checked out but I'm sure you need and MRI to confirm it mines is suspected at the moment.

 

I'm sore round about the back of my ribs on my left hand side. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen are keeping it under control but if I don't take them and I sneeze, holy * is it sore. Trying not to think about it too much.

 

Sounds like you've broken a rib mate.

 

More likely bruised. The pain would be far more severe if broken.

I thought that at first as well but I don't think it's that. I can press on my ribs and it doesn't hurt that much, I'm guessing that would be agony if something was broken. When I sneeze if feels like something in my back is expanding then contracts back to normal. I'm thinking it's muscular or a disc, I'm hoping it's just a pulled or torn muscle as it's stiff down the my front left side as well.
