    Moles *? :fear:

I had no idea either but I googled it and it sounds * horrible.

A thick, dark, heavy syrup which is a by-product of sugar refining. It is far less sweet than syrup or honey and the darker the molasses, the less sugar it contains. Molasses has a slightly bitter flavour that is favoured in traditional North American recipes such as Boston baked beans and it also goes into the making of rich fruit cakes, gingerbread and treacle toffee.

So more sugar on top of the sugar basically :smiley-laughing002:

Tomato sauce is my preference but I do like to mix it up. Got 2 rolls and sausage, one brown, one rid.

Now I used to do this as a kid......wee piece with a red Nd brown mix. Give that a bash. Ha

Yes they both have an insane amount of sugar in each.

Given the choice though (providing I liked brown sauce) I would choose tomato as it seems the "healthiest" out the two.

I've nothing against mixing red and brown sauce. Sometimes have both on a fry, though I tend to put the brown sauce on sausages and the red sauce on the bacon.

Now, a proper fry: there's something that makes me indescribably blissful.

Oh, *... just the thought of it alone...

Considering red and brown sauce are usually applied to the most unhealthy, saturated fat-ridden, greasy, gargantuan feeds in western Europe, I think the nutritional value (or not) of the sauces are the least of our worries. :smiley-laughing002:

Bacon and eggs is a far from an unhealthy meal to start the day :50:

but aye you usually don't apply these sort of things to super healthy foods.
