    To expand on this, I dislike the way in which many just assume that the situation over in Ulster is simply just a religious case of Catholics and Protestants fighting. It is much more of a political issue than a religious one. Particularly down here, people are just clueless about the whole situation.

    I also have a strong dislike for people who think supporting Celtic is about being a Catholic. All are welcome at our club and no one from a certain religion should be seen as more welcome than someone from a different religion.

    I don't expect everyone here to agree with me on this point, but I find it quite embarrassing when someone takes a Vatican flag to a Celtic game. Usually I get the impression that the people who feel the need to do this know absolutely nothing about the Catholic religion or they are just taking the flag to "get it up the huns."

    i think that first point is a lot of nonsense to be honest. would you be happy if you knew that racist skinhead bnp loyalist dog rapists were supporting the club? dinnae think so. you find it embarrasing? embarrasing for you or for them? i dont think you should assume to know about a person or why they do things, as it only leads to you making an * of yourself (in general). i'd much rather certain members of our support waved a papal flag than that monstrosity that is the butchers apron - or sycophantically swooned over trained mercenaries parading around the pitch to a heroes welcome. that being said, i find hot sweaty * farts annoying, because when you make an eruption in tollieland, it sounds like you have * yourself

    Agreed, as I said, the whole 'club open to all' is a complete myth. Was seen when the Youth Head of the BNP was revealed as a Celtic fan and people were calling for him to be banned from the stadium etc.
