    When you're going up or down stairs (usually in the dark) and you misjudge how many steps there are. It's really sore when you try to take a step that isn't there.

    When walking outside and you overtake someone (or they overtake you) - that momentary awkwardness when you're walking alongside in close proximity

    The day after a deep conversation when you know the previous nights chat is best unmentioned even though it was more meaningful than all the trivial bullshit you normally chat about
