Celtic are by far the best team in Scotland and will coast the league. Without Champions League football, we should play experimental sides in the Europa League and turn all our attention onto winning the domestic treble.

Over 38 games nobody will be able to come close to us in the league, so we should look at playing strong sides in both the League cup and Scottish cup. I do not want a repeat of Morton.

At the moment this already feels like a failed, dead season and it would take a treble to change that. This should be our focus :celt_2:

Experimental sides in the EL? Our first team would get beat as it is, we don't really need to be fannying about and getting horsed.

I'd rather a decent showing in the EL instead of a * league cup.

No, * the Scottish Cup and the league cup...... how will winning them change anything???

Win the league, play our squad options in those two cups and try to get out of our group in the EL.

Only way Dire can save his job, should be sacked anyway as of today, but if anyone wants to give him a chance then a treble is all he can do.

If he can't win it then should be shown the door.

Not interested in hearing 'how can you sack someone who wins the league' * either.

Let's wait until the draw to look at "experimentation" because as things stand, we'd get horsed by a substantial percentage of competitors even at full strength.

As for the treble? This current squad have neither the will nor the consistency as far as I can tell.

We have already made fools of ourselves in Europe twice. I would rather do well in the EL and get horsed out of both cups. The only consolation left for us is latter stage EL participation.

there's no hope we will win the treble we just dont have the quality and depth in the squad it takes, trebles are a lot harder to come by than people seem to think

 Experimental sides in the EL? Heard it all now. It is the EL that needs to be used to build the foundations of his team and hopefully help them gel together against far better opposition than we will play domestically.

How many trebles did Lenny win ????? A treble is not a * given right .... They have to be fought for and this team is toothless.

Experimental sides in the EL? For me Europe is much more interesting than Dundee or Kilmarnock. With real manager we could get out of group in EL, but now I even don`t want us to draw rangers in local cups, because with Deila I am not sure of anything.

That's not what I'm meaning though.

I wasn't a huge fan of Lennon tbh, he did well after a bit of luck in Europe, but it soon dived and we ended up picking some severe beatings in Europe. His domestic haul was abysmal in my eyes, considering what happened to them.

Using Lennon as some sort of argument, doesn't weigh with me personally.

He has to do something pretty impressive to get the fans back on-side.

The board ain't backed him properly, but his team selections, signings and lack of purchasing a striker has me pretty darn worried about what kind of manager we have at the helm.

Why? There are teams bigger than us who can see it as a great way for younger/developing players to get some valuable experience, why can't we? Are we too "good" for it? Is it beneath us?

Maybe if we keep Virgil (unlikely), get Brown back as soon as possible and sign Stepovic and Wakaso. Otherwise, there is no chance of it happening. There's a reason we've only won three in our history.
