    Aye thats about it.

They are not one of the better teams in the league, but in honesty the league is better than most in this region.

How does the league compare to the spl mate or even the 1st 2nd 3rd division? what one is it more closest to?

You cannot compare mate. It is just so different to the type of football. If, say Motherwell went there to play in Jakarta they would most probably lose. The heat, the style of possession football they play would be difficult all things considered for any normal SPL team.

Vice versa, if you put a team to play in Scotland from Indonesia, they would struggle too. The football is just so different, so is the temperature, the pitches the stadia and the tactics.

Inter Milan played a league select team a year or so ago if I recalled. It was a fantastic match to watch, they had a right go at Inter and it was very entertaining. There is some money in the league too so as it go's in the region, its probably more competitive than Malaysia, Singapore and probably the majority of China. Probably just a little behind Thailand and Here.

It is never going to rival Europe, but it is a completely different style of football here.

Is the league exciting to watch and more competitive than the spl? ( More teams cabaple of winning the league etc ) And is there more foreigners than other league due to no work permits or is there permits etc?

I like the sound of a player who would be accustomed to playing possession football, it'd be a question of how long he takes to adapt to the physicality/speed of the Scottish game.

Well the Africans do well in Asia, or South East Asia as the style of football is very similar.

I think the new system is still only 5 foreign players per team, however this is dependent on residential status.

Work permits are needed for all players but not difficult to get, I image no one has ever been rejected. The league is quite competitive.

The league was reformed last year due to some changes, I am not to sure what has changed but the clubs do play in large stadiums with decent crowds. The Indo's really love their football, however most support EPL but when a big match happens they turn out in large numbers.

It is the country I have spent the least time in, in this region and it is very muslim so that will effect the signings and football.

I'm hearing that apart from the ongoing talks & medical with Rami Gershon we're also in for another defender and a centre forward

Advise you to take this with a pinch of salt but you never know

Harkins isnt consistent enough to be called a better player than anyone. Even Killie are trying to punt Harkins and Dundee are favorites to sign him.

I disagree. He's one of their better players tbh, he's also a creative player and with that comes inconsistency, especially at a club like Kilmarnock. He is better than Kelly of that I have no doubt. Neither would get on our bench tbh, but Kelly is further away than Harkins imo.

Harkins isn't a bad player but he's very ugly to be fair. He looks about 40 :56:.
    He's only just turned 28!

Aye he said that himself, if he didn't look as if he was about to retire when he was 21 he may have been considered a good youth prospect :56:

He was rated highly at Blackburn then they moved him to centre half and eventually let him go, he's done well to work his way back through the leagues to Killie.

Also, Eyal Golasa at Maccabi Haifa. Another Israeli with plenty of talent. Linked with big moves to some of the well known european leagues in the past but nothing ever materialised. Still only 21.

Harkins has talent but he has the shape of a pub team player.
