Bullshit rumour. McGeady would be cup-tied on our way to Wembley, Wembley.

Yes... but imagine him in the league. Again.

Imagine him supplying the likes of Hooper and Stokes instead of Fortune, Sammy, JVoH etc.

It would be a dream come true. And by the way when he played against us the other month he had improved massively from an already brilliant standard.

I'd love to see McGeady back in the hoops.

JVoH once scored a massive 6 goals in the league. I loved the big man but he wasn't a massive goalscorer.

I don't think he ever scored 20 in a season for us, which is said to be the minimum for a Celtic striker?

McDonald was a goalscorer though, just don't think his movement or link up play is as good as Hooper's or Stokes and McGeady would feed on that.

I think Hooper's movement is world class. Better than anyone since Larsson. He's just never had anyone to feed him the balls. Commons on form can do it but that isn't often. Even still, Commons at his best isn't as good a playmaker as McGeady having an average game. If this deal did happen it would be utterly amazing. We've been crying out for creativity for two seasons and McGeady has it in abundance.

The amount of runs that Hooper cuts short because they haven't been spotted is insane. McGeady is nowhere near as good a passer or at spotting them as Commons is... what McGeady does is make an oppurtunity for him to spot that about 5, 6, 7, 8 times a match... generally a few of them end up as goalscoring opportunities.

Fair doos can't argue with that although i think Mcdonald in his prime was better than Stokes and i like Stokes

Commons was brilliant that match against Motherwell. He can be an amazing passer on his day but overall I'd say McGeady's a better and more consistent playmaker. Maybe Commons at his best is better but he is much less consistent. Also Commons is very selfish and would rather take a chance himself whereas McGeady would rather create for a teammate. I felt when Keane was here we saw a bit of a difference in McGeady's playmaking (albeit he was played out of position at times). Keane made some amazing runs and McGeady could definitely spot them. But he only had 6 months of playing with that type of player whereas Commons has had a lot longer with Hooper and not impressed as much IMO.

Still seeing MCGeady back would be ridiculously amazing however unlikely to happen. It's the kind of thing you really dream about. I love our current team but he is a class above.

Exactly what I thought. Next to no chance Spartak are after another right back either when they've already got Makeev and Parshivlyuk.

Irish International who plays for Spartak Moscov, he's pacy, tricky and good with either foot..could add some creativity into our side.

That McGinn boy for Aberdeen looks good. Where did they find him? Don't know much about him really.

Steven Davis would add that creative spark we're missing in midfield.
