Don't really think we need another wide player but from watching the blackpool birmingham game tonight I was very impressed by tom ince. Conversely matt phillips who has been linked with us before didn't really catch the eye. I've no idea what he would cost but if we are looking to add a left winger ince would be perfect.

I think we should be definitely looking to have a look at some of the players of teams that are in relegated premier league teams. A Kevin Doyle or Fletcher would be a fantastic signing, Championship football or Champions League? The pulling power is there hopefully the wages wouldn't put us out.

looks a good finisher, could be a bargain at 1m euro tbh. See what happens in regards to that rumour though, no doubt we will be linked with plenty of players in the coming months.

could be a decent signing, their captain pedro Geromel the brazilian CB dunno if he would be any good for us.

Same with the brazilian Rodnei from Kaiserslauten 6ft 3 CB.

Kevin Doyle keeps getting bandied about...why? He's not a very good player at all - might as well just keep Daryl Murphy if that is the kind of striker we are wanting for next season.

I agree, dont rate Doyle at all and same goes for Shane Long. I would prefer Steven Fletcher everyday of the week but he'll prob cost around 6m.

I know this might sound unrealistic, but what about Lukaku? I mean, we're all asking for a tall centre forward, he's 6'3, played in Belgium so has European football experenice and could help us through the CL qualifiers...only a season long loan deal obviously, and his wages probably won't be that high. In terms of him wanting to join, I'd guess he'd rather start most games for us than make 6 appearances a season for Chelsea, 5 of them coming on as a sub in the last 10 minutes or so...

Kara joined Tromso in February 2010 from the Diambars academy.Kara has got off to a good start in Tromsø, forming an impressive partnership with local youngster yttegard jensen in the center of Tromsøs midfield. Comparison's were drawn between him and Patrick Viera due to his physical approach and dominance in the air. He has put in multiple man of the match performances leading him to be scouted by Arsenal FC only to fall to injury when the scouts arrived. His hard tackling, crazy hairstyles and aggressive behaviour leading him to becoming a fans favourite and being nicknamed: "The Black Beast". He got his first goal against Aelesunds FK, after putting in a tackle just in front of his own goal he sprinted the length of the pitch to get on the end of a cross. Tromso legend and ex-manager Steinar Nilsen has stated Kara to be the best combative midfielder he's seen let alone in Norway. Football pundit and ex-Arsenal defender Lee Dixon stated that Mbodj could well be the answer to both Arsenal's defensive frailties as well as their lack of strength in their midfield, touting Kara to partner Jack Wilshere in the centre of midfield for years to come. Rumour also has it that Liverpool FC and Club Brugge are also interested in the services of Kara.

    Kara Mbodj
6ft 3. Defensive Minded player it appears. Been linked with various EPL clubs. Wanyama number 2?
