    A lot of the time when our players are being linked with moves away, I would snap your hand off for the price being quoted (eg. Hooper/Ki £8 million).

    However £3 million for our top scorer is an insulting price. I'm pretty sure Garry O'Connor cost that and he certainly wasn't scoring or assisting as many goals as Stokes or playing for as big a club, as good a striker as he was.

    There is no way any club will pay the money for Stokes that he is worth to us currently, which is around £5.5 million in my opinion. I'm not sure if he would consider going there anyway, though if he's mates with McGeady I guess it would be 10x easier to settle.

    Never mind the insulting offer, Stokes has had a sorta stop-start career since he was a teenager. Now he's at Celtic, his career is finally taking off the way it always threatened to. Why would you risk that by upping stick to some far off land? That would take a lotta Rubles, Comrade!
