I think Zigic only cost them about £5mill, and the fact that they have been relegated, hes more of a squad player for them, and hes 30 odds would suggest to me we could possibly pick him up for around 3-4mill. worth it for the experience and threat he would offer us.

Agree with Elmander but sure he is off to Turkey.

So lets suppose we pay 4M for someone who's nearly 31 (we won't btw), how do we come up with the 50k a week Zigic is currently on?

We don't but the fact is unless another Premiership club comes in for him we can give him parity with almost every other club out there apart from the Champions League regulars.

We won't, it's not our style to buy that high with they wages when he is getting on a bit and if we do it won't be Zigic' it'll be Robbie Keane.

I love zigics work ethic, and he would give us a real ariel threat. Would be a great lone striker in Europe aswell!

Mensahs a bit too injury prone for me. I've heard the huns are interested in him... would hate to see them get him though because hes a beast when hes not injured.

Personally I'd prefer a slightly younger centreback to Boulahrouz or Yobo (although they're quality players) as they could learn alot from playing alongside Big Maj. Wouldn't mind Andreas Granqvist or Ivan Ramis (We've been linked with them before.)

To the fans of a bitter persuasion put it aside for a minute and look for the good of the team..

    Kenny Miller.

Top goal scorer last year (and he left in January)
Won't cost much in fee or wages if he really wants to come back to Scotland.
    Is still a good player.

I agree paddy i wouldn't actually mind seeing miller back at parkhead again, i thought it was a mistake when we sold him even though we got good money and i was proved right because he was a menace against our defence all the time.

While he is a bit of a money grabber it looks like he wants to be back in scotland for his last few years and personally think he would be a good addition to the squad. If people see past his previous years then they would take him too but i think with what has happened with him people would never want him back and i can't criticize that.

Henri Lansbury Arsenal are looking to maybe move him on as he has stalled on a new contract would be a excellent player and could add that real spark we are missing.

I noticed that Rob Earnshaw spaeaking on Sky Sports, he's a free agent and we could do worse than sign him, got a lot of expirience and he's still only 29

Would take earnshaw on a free as a squad player if the wages were right. His pace alone would unsettle spl defenders as sir kenneth of permatan showed.
