    Koln are his team.

No chance of him, other, 'bigger' teams would be in for him

All the german clubs get loads of cash because they're stadiums are constantly full. But as you say it is bizarre how Kolk could afford it cos they're one of the skint german clubs.

I've always thought there was something dodgy about Podolski's contracts etc because for such a good player he never seems to play as good at club level, but at international level he is * flawless.

Would love to see him here but I just don't think we could afford him mate.

He is on a free i know there will be clubs in the prem and Europe after him but its worth a shout meaning he is on a free means we can offer him a larger sign on fee just look at Ledley perfect example i am sure Joe would be able to sell him on a move here .

He'll be at the Prem next year regardless of whether Cardiff go up or not this season. I think he's available for free in the Summer.

Podolski is a no-no. FC Koln ended up paying 10million euros for him, which would be the equivalent of £8million or something along those lines. The guy is a German international too and would be looking for about £70,000 in wages no doubt, which we simply can't afford, even if we offload the duds like Loovens, Hooiveld, Murphy, Hutchinson etc.

I've never really heard much about Jay Bothroyd, but he would seem a much more realistic target to me than Lukas Podolski.

Said it before i'll say it again get Marian Kello in some of the saves he's made this season have been outstanding and at vital times wouldn't be too dear either. Watched him today against the sheep made a belter of a save to deny them 3 points.
