If he had been with us last year, we would have had 10IAR. He is that * good.

The only issue now is- doies the manager tolerate basic keepers with poor ball control? I certainly couldn't care less about passing in a GK.

Origi is * *. The comparison to Papin was absolutely mental.

Does that mean you agree with everything else I’ve said?

Ok, so maybe we can afford half of Origi’s salary, he still isn’t coming here at 26, in his prime, to make a lot lower salary.

Forster came in loan, still getting his full salary, whether we paid give or take 50% of it, he still got 100% of his wages.

Unfortunately, Origi is a player who is unrealistic for us. Another point, I don’t think he’d be good value for money. He’s never been prolific as a striker. I think he’s scored more than 10 goals in a season, once.

We would not. We might have been closer but we were an absolute disgrace last season. No chance we would have won the league with him.

If Forster can come on loan, so can Origi who is not getting enough full time first team football. He has the experience. Watch the clips on him - he is a gun. He simply has not been given an extended run because of the overall talent Klopp has at his disposal. He is at his peak age wise for that position. Celtic would be happy to have him for a season or two to settle the team into transition. That's my view. He has a lot of goals in him, especially for the SPL.

I honestly don't want Forster after the way he messed us about last summer.

I'd love Origi but think him totally unrealistic.

Kyogo might wind up our striker. Certainly him, Abada and Ajeti would look pretty good. Eddy would look better but unlikely to stay.

Forster came on loan to Celtic because he had a past with us and knows what it is to play for Celtic.

Origi does not have that. Also, I’ve watched Origi play many times, I’m still of the opinion he would not be good value for money for us.

You say he has a lot of goals in him, he’s never been a goal scorer to be honest. He has scored more than 10 goals in a season once, in 2016-17 when he scored 11. Thats in his whole career.

I’m not saying he’s a bad player, I think he’s really good at what he does but he isn’t someone we need. I just think we’d get better value elsewhere.

Watch the clips. If you have played football you will know what I mean.

What do you disagree with George? There’s no chance he would come here and I wouldn’t * the biscuit tin on it either

I am not saying he will come. I am saying I would like him to come because he would be good for the team. If Celtic can not afford him then that is another matter.

I’ve not said he’s a bad player or not good enough for us.

You’ve said he’ll score loads up here, he’s never done that anywhere in his career.

But I’ll keep it simple, do you think he’d be good value for money at Celtic? A loan fee (probably £3-5million) and at least half his wages?

Why not ? If Liverpool were willing to pay half his wages I think it would be a good signing. No player wants to be warming the bench week in week out. Klopp would rather have him playing competitively on a weekly basis and keeping tabs on him. It seems to me he is 4th or 5th in line in the forwards pecking order at present at Liverpool.

Aye there's a reason he's 4th or 5th choice with Liverpool. Origi is nowhere near prolific enough to be coming here and expecting a load of goals tbh plus we've not even as much as been linked with him for the last couple of years so it's pointless talking about it

Fair enough then, we’ll agree to disagree.

I don’t know how spending £5-8 million on a loan signing for a forward who isn’t a proven goal scorer is good value for money for us.
