Alexander Milosevic on a free until the end of the season as cover for Julien would be a decent signing. If he does fine then have an option of a longer deal. He was playing up to December so won’t be far away from match sharpness.

Him and Ajer as CB’s would be a lot better than what we have just now.

 

We don't need to sign a new defender to have better than what we've got, we have the billy mcneil and jock stein statues, both are better than Duffy

came through a good system at Lens and then Auxerre.

Any hypothetical striker suggestions for the summer? Just out of interest. I know it depends on so many variables I.e. Manager, DOF etc

 

We once signed this striker from feyenoord that was only scoring about 5 goals a season. Shocking decision. Fella by the name of Henrik Larsson... what we like, eh?

 

I get that but as of late we’ve had some terrible deals and quite a few of the loans we get only last half a season or a full season at most. Larsson was around for 7 years so we didn’t have to constantly seek a new replacement every 6 months.

 

If we had the equivalent of a Henrik now he’d be here for 1-2 years max mate. We just have to accept we can’t hold onto good players anymore in the modern game

 

When Larsson was here we did alright in Europe and we were paying similar wages to a lot of Premier league clubs.
