If we're playing a back 3 on a regular basis - Duffy, Jullien and Ajer would get done for pace I think.

Last year I'd have said 10 mil. We still don't know how Covid will affect this window could be clubs selling cheap, or clubs looking at loans more than usual.

 

Good to get a keeper in and an attacking player.
That gets these two so-called, "problem areas" fixed pretty sharpish.

Good intent shown imo assuming the medicals go to plan. Any other year I believe we would have *’D about in the hope of getting Forster back. The fact we have went out and purchased a keeper early on speaks volumes add in Lennon Reading Griff the riot act it’s clear that we ain’t messing about this year. Ajeti & Barkas have the potential to walk straight into that team.

As long as we don’t sell anyone I would agree with the positions. I would also like another winger preferably that could play either side.

I like the look of Alberth Elis who we were linked with, he looked to have quality on the ball, the ability to get at a defender and cause problems and was not a bad finisher. Given his contract was up at the end of the year we should be able to get him on a good deal. Alternatively the young winger form Norway Hauge looks a talented boy and wouldn’t cost too much.

Do you think Hickey will be ready to challenge for the left back position? If not I would want someone who is and Boli out. Not against signing Hickey as well, as he looks a talent.

On Turnbull I think he looks a talent but if we didn’t sell anyone where does he get game time? Do you think Motherwell would take slightly less money if we agree to leave him there until January with the option to assess, but the option he stays there the full season? Given he missed the full season nearly last year, I wouldn’t want to sign him and then he doesn’t get any game time.

 

@Foley1888 I'd be happy with Taylor and Hickey vying for LB, don't rate Boli at all, but unless we can get rid or loan think we're stuck with him.

I'm unsure if this will be Dembele's break through season or not but he isn't far away, but aye with MJ injured an injury to Forrest would leave us struggling possibly.. So a winger who can play either side would be ideal.

I'd take Turnbull and loan him back to Well til January get the game time in his legs.

If we get the two that are imminent in and quality CB then I'd be happy, LB and LW/RW and make sure we get the likes of Connell, O'Connor quality loan moves and hold on to our best players, I'd be ecstatic.

 

Seems some people commenting saying Antonee Robinson has a £1.5 million release clause at Wigan. Should be all over that. Stat wise seems to be one of most attacking full backs in the championship. Obviously his move to Ac Milan fell through in January because of his irregular heartbeat but had surgery to correct that it seems. The chat is probably in hope more than anything.
