Did the board not take pay cuts during the pandemic and you think they are angling for a bonus? Doesn't add up mate. Especially since bonuses are given when we make certain amount of profit, there will be no profit for a couple of years.

At this point we are weaker than the end of last season but not drastically, we need a CB and gk as a priority and we could do with another attacker who can play wide and you could argue we need another striker.

Do you honestly think our scouts do nothing and just activate when the transfer window opens? Do you not think these guys will have targets to meet and report to PL? How the * do you know what Lenny and the rest were doing during lockdown? You just make * up to suit your argument.

If our transfer business is anything like the gamepass it will be cheap and cheerful.

    Stopped working already :40:

Lawwells annual £1m bonus is dependant on profits not performance.

Based on how this summer has gone so far I don't have a * clue what our scouts do. 1 * loan signing and he was here last year.
The fact that there have been no other signing and we are 1 week from the season starting would suggest they havnt done very much would it not. But you just carry on sucking lawwells * it's supporters like you why they get away with this incompetent * every * year

I thought it was just your mate that was an * but it's you as well.

Incompetent * each year? 3 trebles in a row and going for a fourth and fifth this season.

You are just an absolute wee bawbag.

Every message you post is negative.

2 champions league qualification out of 6. Knocked out by bang average * like Malmo, Maribor, Aek Athens and Cluj.
The last 2 years we havnt even made the play off round and have had to watch that useless * jack hendry tripping over his own feet.

We have learned * all from the last 2 summer windows failures and appear to be even * worse this year.

IMO that is incompetent but if your happy with that you carry on with your * happy clapping bawbag.

Another halfwit for the ignore button.

    * sake ryan you need to chill out, just because someone disagrees with you you go in to a rage.

People in forums tend to have different opinions, no need to get upset everytime it happens

To be fair,i would say the scouts would look for new talent and bring it to the attention of the board/Manager and they would take it from there.

Whos to say our scouts have not identified targets but the board didnt make a move?not saying im happy with that just that it may not be the scouts not doing their job.

As mentioned before i think the virus will have a big impact on what players we bring in this season.

With Watford, Norwich, Bournemouth all getting relegated surely lennon and co must have a eyebrow raised and a thought poundering in the back of his heads

OK your maybe right that the scouts have done their job but there's no doubt there's been a failing somewhere.
The season finished in March. Given the time and the importance of this season, we should have been more prepared than we have ever been going into pre season. Instead we are 1 week before the season starts and our plans are all up in the air while we get * about by Forster. It's a shambolic situation to be in at this stage.

The virus has had an effect on everyone financially in some way or another but at no point did the board say to the fans we understand that things have been difficult so we'll help you out with the season tickets. They told us to pay up or * off so why should they not be given the same treatment

I think this season our transfers will be dictated by Champions League qualification due to the pandemic. Lets not forget the players and staff who took pay deferrals will be due their monies, although we probably have budgeted for that it uses up valuable funds. Qualification starts on 8th August with the CL proper starting in Sept. The transfer window is open to 5th October, if we qualify for the group stages then we will have more to spend. We may only spend on a goalkeeper before then but with CL group stages secured we could afford to go out and get another CB and Right winger for competition with Forest. Without CL qualification we may have to settle for squad players and projects.

Can't understand how we are being linked with Toney and ajeti when we have actually more attacking options now than we did this time last summer. Unless edoaurd could be gone. Which would be an absolute disaster. Griff will be grand. For me hickey is easy cover and could suprise a lot and then spend on a centre half and maybe a leftfield loan for a player that can cover both wings .. imagine being in sevco position , they have essentially one striker who is desperately wanting out the gap 6 days before the start of the season.

One thing is we are a lot a poorer and frustrating team at 4231 than 352 especially at home, we really struggle with chance creation at 4231.
