Disagree, I know what you mean they have a clumsy presence but come on to * there better than loovens.

 

The three of them are just as equally * IMO......what we need is a big, ugly, rugged CB who can bully the forwards, win balls in the air and quite simply boot the ball to * whenever it's near him.

WE don't do well trying to find ball-playing defenders, or trying to mould them into such.

The ilk of the player im thinking of is personified by the two Cb's of Blackburn in Ryan Nelsen and Chris Samba.

 

I'd be surprised if a CB in the EPL would leave for the SPL. But there are a good few solid ones down there like the ones mentioned above and Hangeland and Huth

To be honest mate I'd be up for that as well. I think Wilson's a tidy player and he could probably do well alongside Majstorovic. I don't think Liverpool would want to loan him out at this point though.

Yeah. As I said in another thread, the continent may be the best place to look with cheaper players and less wages. It's difficult to find a EPL player who would lower their wage demands

st ledger would be my 1st option, good defender and has abit of bite about him.

 

They good enough for celtic though?, thats the question. I want another player like majstorovic, he likes to attack occasionally aswell. Want someone with good aerial skills aswell

 

Zander Diamond is rotten, same positional sence as mcmanus, diving into challenges and gives away free kicks and penalties L, R and centre!

lads chris baird is most definetly not a hun.A friend of mine knows him quite well.
His mothers home in Rasharkin was petrol bombed by loyalists in September 2010 in a sectarian attack,Regardless of religion i would question whether or not he is quite good enough for celtic........he started his career at ballymena then went to southampton under george burley then sold to fulham for £3mill he has played center half but favoured position is right back.........
p.s adam hamill would be a good buy also david templeton ..i also would ask fergie to let us have jonny evans on loan as he wants him to go out on loan for rest of season(even though he supports the dark side) and try for ryan nelsen from b/burn half decent but him and big maj would scare the * out of most strikers!!! hail hail
