Forster kicking is terrible but hes the best goalkeeper we have had in a very long time and by quiet some margin. Would take him in a heartbeat

Djilobodji has just been released by Sunderland, sure we were interested in him before he joined Chelsea. Although he has been released for not being fit enough...

He was class a few years back, * happened to him? 6’4 built like a brick shithouse, can play midfield or defence.

I'm assuming you never heard the interview on talksport with the Sunderland chairman about him and Niang (or something like that) .

    Wouldnt touch with a bargepole.

Just read more on it, put a transfer request in June that got refused, patched pre-season and ‘comprehensively’ failed a fitness test on his return.

Aye I read the BBC article about his fitness test and not returning until this month, I’ve heard a bit of the talk sport interview with Stewart Donald. He has also said they are looking into suing both players due to losing out on any fees.

He's not been great for a while.

But still loved him here. Would make no sense in terms of the 'ball playing' side of things however.

Hed need to seriously work on that.

If he has the potential to get back to that level, I would take him in a heartbeat. If he doesn’t, I’d rather give Bain or someone else a chance.

I’d take him back for 2 million dollars.

I smell PR at work, few months Sunderland wanted a fee for both players. Both are yet to prove themselves.
I'd rather sign Samir Nasri and he's banned.

Problem with idea of Forster coming back permanently is that he still has 4 years on his current Southampton deal so he probably have to walk away from a * of a lot of money to make the return.

He isn’t proven? Over 250 games, including in Ligue 1, the Premiership and the Bundesliga. International player.

Well it would be difficult for either player to "prove" they are value for money on the back of relegation season, but this is what you get in the free window. Two who've went on strike, sound familiar? Not even one pre-season between them.
It's maybe just the nature of the window where you benefit from the same sort of situation that blighted our transfer window and cost us a place in the Champions' League.
