    When is he being signed then? Seems like a proper Rodgers and the board signing.

    He will be signed and out for the rest of the season.

    Why can’t we sign a player who is already making a name for themselves???

    I’d love a couple of old school Italian centre halves - that’s exactly what we need. They made it an art. This guy sounds more like a journeyman though.

    In saying that - I’ll always remember Enrico Annoni’s performance at Anfield, he didn’t give Robbie Fowler a touch of the ball, he ended up getting subbed, and it ended 0-0.

    The problem is I don’t think Rodgers would play/buy someone like that.

    He can’t seem to find a happy medium, it cost him at Liverpool as well.

    It’s a fine line between being a purist and being naive.
