    Sébastien Corchia - 27-year-old former Lille right-back, now at Sevilla. He missed much of last season with a groin injury (the only injury recorded on his Transfermarkt profile). I wonder if he and Sevilla would be willing to do a deal involving Boyata - maybe a tad hopeful.

    Yeah think the usual Man City loan links we always seem to get supposedly highly rated by Pep so would like to see a loan deal done no idea how good he actually is though.

    To be honest, no. We need better than him. By all accounts he’s done well at Barnsley and I know he was great at Partick. That said, we need experience and leadership at the back.

    Liam Lindsay is the CB we should’ve gone after last summer instead of signing Jack Hendry. Lindsay’s somehow flew under the radar but I rate him higher than Hendry or Scott McKenna. I would take him if we had Ajer, experienced CB, experienced CB, and needed another piece for cover. Unfortunately the ship has sailed, but I think he’ll end up being a top player.
