Reynolds is a decent shout because he is the type that would make this balance we're talking about- with Maj. Both height and confidence on the ball. Hope he's not too slow but from what I've seen it would be good as he seems composed. Also, Maj could bring him on with experience.

I'm going to bed now. He's one of the worst Swiss national defenders I have ever witnessed. Worse than Senderos, Grichting, Eggimann and Djourou.

You are a scary man, Leone. :icon_mrgreen:

Moussa Sissoko or Steven Defour but I recon they'd cost about 6mil no chance are the board gonna put that much money into one player :/

seen some were that everton were intrested in niko kranjar on loan in january for the rest of the season but he is not intrested in a loan deal and everton cant afford the 3 million for him, so if he was available for 3 million then i would certainly be looking at him ,think celtic were after him before he went to portsmouth so could maybe be in for a shout ?

3m is a bargain for him

If we invested in 3 players this January, 2 Solid, experienced defenders around the price of 3-5 million, and one marquee signing eg Keane, Ireland something like that, I think we'd walk the league and certainly have a promising side for some sort of Euro Run next year, If only.

Wouldn't happen. They've been linked with Arsenal and Man Utd respectively.

He's only played one game for Spurs in the Prem this season. I think he will want out. Him and Jamie O'Hara just ooze class and would run riot up here!

Defour is being watched by Man u. He got a letter from Fergie a year a go or something saying they were thinking about him after he broke his leg- and that they had an eye on his recovery and return to football

Sebastien Bassong is a player i think we could make a go for.

He's been noted in the press as saying he'll look elsewhere if he isnt playing regularly.

Spurs have an embarassing riches of CB with Gallas, Kaboul, Dawson, King and Corluka all fighting for places.

He cost Spurs £8Million last summer and i see a £4 or £5Million pound bid possibly doing it.

I see a Boumsong or Cuellar scenario happening if he came up. Absolutley coasting the league - sell him on for a much bigger fee the next summer.

Boumsong was brought here on a free and was selt for £8Mill.

Cuellar captured for £2.3Mill and sold on for £7.8Mill.

    Go figure.

No chance of Bassong. Wages and the fact he'd be wanted in the prem
