    Isn’t Dijks a bit *?

Saw him a couple of times for Norwich and was pretty thankful we didn’t sign him.

Could be right. Haven't seen him since we played Ajax in Ronny's second year, not much to go off in all honesty.

    Twumasi
    Musonda on loan
    Jon Flanagan
Junuzovic from Werder Bremen (contract expires in June)

    Quality centre half
Florentin Pogba, Subotic, Granqvist, Kirchhoff and Caulker were ones on the list I mentioned above who are either free agents or contracts are close to ending. Kirchhoff is a good passer and comfortable on the ball but he might end up been another Simunovic as he has had a lot of injuries. Was fantastic in the premier league for Sunderland before getting injured.

Would Granqvist be cup tied for European football? He plays for Krasnodar in Russia. Got a feeling he would be cup tied but not 100%.

Goalkeeper who is comfortable with the ball and can pass if Brendan isn’t going to play De Vries more to see how he performs.
    Right back if Gamboa leaves
    Striker if Dembele leaves

Think he’d be quality, but Rodgers and him really didn’t get on. Also he’ll be looking at going back to a £100k+ a week contract

I'm 50/50 on Caulker, on one hand he would be on a free, good player from what I have seen and only 26 still has time to develop. On the other hand why has he been released by QPR and if he is struggling to deal with the stress in football I'm not sure coming up here to be our first choice CB would be the wisest choice. Not sure we need to take a gamble on him just because we would get him free, we have made over 50 million in the past two seasons from being in the champions league not including merchandise, tickets, sponsors and Van Dijk money.

Right now we should be spending at least 10-15 million on the defence alone, and if we sell Dembele it should be even more. Pontus Jansson would be a solid signing not sure how much they would be looking for though, doubt he would give a * leaving Leeds when they're sitting 6th in the Championship. Someone mentioned Jan Kirchhoff and any time I seen him play for Sunderland in the premier league he was their only good player, but again strange why he hasn't found a club already and has played less than 130 professional football games at 27 years of age. Also If Gamboa is leaving (most likely) we should try get another Bundesliga player to partner Compper.

I've been through plenty of mental health issues, I'm still a *:50:

By all accounts the guy has a * attitude towards his coaches and team mates, regardless of whether he's an alcohalic or not.

There’s more to it than being an alcoholic. But we have no idea really. Don’t know what you’re basing it off.

The fact that I’ve been through plenty of mental health stuff and that doesn’t take away from the fact that you can still be an *? By all accounts the guy has an attitude problem. You can have mental issues and still be the most dedicated worker out there. He’s clearly not.

My point stands. What are you basing this off? You have no idea what’s going on in his head.

My point stands as well. I’m talking first hand here, I’ve dealt with mental health issues and drinking problems most of my life. It doesn’t change the fact that you can still be dedicated to your job, instead of throwing the toys out the pram when your on the bench against Fulham.

It’s well documented the guy has a * attitude, irregardless of his mental health situation.

You’re believing some random person on a fan forum? I don’t really think that counts as “well documented”.

Your issues are irrelevant when discussing Steven Caulker. Everybody is different, he will deal with it different to you or anyone else and just because he isn’t dealing with it well, doesn’t mean he’s a *.

I’m not saying he’s a * because of his problems though? I’m saying he’s a * in spite of them. He’s been known to have a * attitude all of his career.

I’ve never known him to have a bad attitude. If he did I doubt Rodgers would speak about him he way he has done.
What I’m saying is you don’t know how long the issues have been there and whether or not they are the reason he’s allegedly acting that way.

Just thought of that guy Ibraimi that played for Maribor. Thought he was a quality number 10.
