Adam Le Fondre is a brilliant player he has 16 already this season.

He could well be. League 1 is probably the level of half of the SPL teams. But he may not be as he hasn't moved up the leagues in England (yet?)

Again I would say David Goodwillie. He is a terrific forward IMO.
He has pace, real pace and an eye for goal. It was embarrasing watching Ledley trying to catch him the other week. Sell Samaras and bring in Goodwillie, that would give us three really good strikers if either Stokes or Hooper were injured.

Gary Hooper was third top scorer in Championship last year, playing for one of the worst clubs in the league. Why draw parallels with him to a League 2 mediocrity?

    But he's in League 2.

    * sake, yeah, Celtic should be going the way of signing players like Le Fondre and Austin. No * ambition. We can still sign decent players, we are still up there with premiership clubs. We are better than Wolves, Blackpool, Blackburn, Wigan etc. Why should we be dropping so low? Shameful to suggest that 'players like Austin is the way to go.'

Not a chance him coming here , fee and wages would rule us out plus do not see him leaving Man Utd any time soon .

We are not up there with Wolves ,Wigan etc , do not be stupid , Wolves bought Fletcher and Doyle or 7million each , Wigan bought Mauro Boselli for 6million ,

Yeah we are a bigger club and always will be but these clubs blow us out of the water in terms of spending , and fee's and wages .

Blackburn were bought for next to nothing, don't expect Abramovich style spending in January. Look, the point is that we are just about hanging on to the premiership's coat-tails financially, from our huge worldwide support. We are still up there and can compete with the lower-to-middle teams in the league. But even if you disagree with this, to suggest that we are the standard of Billy Austin and Le Fondre is almost heart-breaking. To think that this great club is now being spoken of in the same sentence as bottom-tier journeymen mediocrities. * that.
