The only way we could get McCarthy is if he was willing to turn down a bigger club for us! A team like Liverpool will be after him if Wigan go down and it just depends how badly he wants to play for Celtic. Celtic spoke to him when he was at Hamilton and told him to stay there two more years and then we would buy him but then in the end he went to Wigan.
