    I was just taking the *. Didn't love him though, thought Van Dijk still stood out like a sore thumb next to him because he was a couple of levels ahead. Denayar always had a frame that look more suited to midfield as well

    You thought it was Boyata didn't you....

    Denayer was superb for us at centre half and the gap to VVD certainly did not stick out like a sore thumb. It was clear who was better and more experienced when they were paired but not by much at Celtic.

    Not reliable enough for us to spend that much money on him I don't think. Can skin a player and put in a good cross but lightweight, inconsistant and a powderpuff shot, one of those players with a poor footballing brain.
