    Seriously though, only way he'd ever come back is if he was homesick or something.... But let's be honest, Liverpool is as close to being like Glasgow than probably anywhere else in England and a few hour's on the rattler..

    McCarthy would be an enormous signing for Celtic.

    Man United were genuinely interested and the figures were being bandied about of 20 million plus. Took a dip in form as Everton did but still, brilliant centre mid.
