Even if it isn't true we should be looking in Bosnia, Serbia etc a lot more.

SO much talent there that we could attract, especially with Rodgers here now.

Agreed, the technical ability in their leagues and the Croatian league is levels above anything we'll see here. We will be looking into these places, however we need to act faster and more efficiently.

I hope the Delaney rumour has something in it.

Don't know much about these other 2.

I've got Tony Hamilton, Craig Folwer and Christian Wuff all reasonably respectable, so the guy seems a solid source.

Funnily enough I said in the suggestions thread a couple hours ago that Brasanac and Delaney would be a fantastic piece of business and really transform our midfield.

Both have experience of European qualifiers, as does Duljovic. These are the kind we should be targeting.

I know more about Delaney than I do the other 2, mind you. Going purely on the standard YT clips Brasanac appears to have an eye for a pass, energy and dig. Same as Delaney. Upgrades on the likes of Armstrong and McGregor either side of Biton.

Pretty much what we need, a couple of midfielders would completely transform our team, Both you mentioned are exactly the types of players we should be going for.

I really rate Mcgregor and think he can go really far with us, however he's not up to European standard as of yet, I have no doubts he'll progress into a cracking player but currently he should only be seen as back up, good back up none the less.

In regards to Armstrong, I'm unsure in the role he can play for us - completely inconsistent, I'm not sure he has the heart to play for Celtic. He seems oblivious as to what the club stands for, he wont feel the passion in playing for Celtic like other would.

Delaney should be high on out list. Exactly the sorr of CV we should be looking at.

This Duljevic looks the business as well.

I like McGregor as well, really came on as a player last 6 months. I just think that looking at our midfield, it needs altered.

Seems quite unbalanced at times and looking at a 3 of Armstrong, Brown and McGregor for example is quite boring and plain. I think that realistically we should be looking to upgrade on all 3.

I only see a squad player in Armstrong, personally. He just doesn't stand out to me in any particular way.

IF Biton stays, then I am happy for him to be starting, as long as he is up for it and shows the form we know he is capable of. Put 2 guys like these either side of him and we instantly go up a gear.

Agreed, two new starting midfielders of that calibre would do our full team the world of good, it'll all come down to If and when BR drops Brown, only then will we start to progress.

Delaney and Brasanac remind me a bit of Elyounoussi from a purely idealisitic and business stand point. Both quality stand out players on teams who have played at an equal or debatably higher level than us that are available for between £2-4 million. The way we currently operate in terms of buying low and selling high still works but with guys like Delaney or Brasanac, it fufills Rodgers' goal of quality over quantity. We would be buying guys who are good enough now to get us into the CL but still have room to grow and shoot up in value. The reason I compare them to Elyounoussi is because Elyounoussi got bought by Basel for just over £3 million, a team with similar goals as us, and probably a similar budget. In my opinion, we missed the boat on him big time, but if we solidified our midfield with these guys, that would more than make up for it.
