    Used the usual "Don't know if it is possible, we will wait and see". This window has been frustrating as * so far.

    Dunno what games you watched Bamford in but I wouldn't take a lot from it.

    Given a choice between the two it is a no brainer. A guy who was championship POTY at 20 only a year and a half ago or Wilson who did little with Brighton last season.

    Anywhere Bamford has been given regular playing time (MK Dons, Derby and Borough) he has shone.

    Goal threat and can also play on both wings. Priceless attribute.

    But he's not at Barca, he's at Barca B. Just because a player is playing at Barca B doesn't mean that there is intent or belief that the player could one day play for Barca.

    It's a great platform to develop academy players with a view to them being first team players, but realistically if they get to 23/24 and they haven't made the step up then they are never going to. They still need players to make up the numbers for the Barca B squad, so there is no need to release every player who isn't going to move up to Barca

    You can't look at Barca B as simply being Barca's reserves. They are a 2nd/3rd tier Spanish team and aside from a number of promising youngsters they have players at a level befitting of the league they are playing in.

    In response to the Darko Brasanac rumour in the other thread, after having a look at him would really like it to be true.

    I think the midfield needs transformed. Bringing him along with someone like Thomas Delaney would work wonders for our chances in Europe.

    Would be happy to keep Biton then and rotate with Ajer too, giving us a really good looking midfield with potential and bite. Players who have the ability and know-how of how to get through qualifiers. Both Delaney and Brasanac have been in them regularly with Copenhagen and Partizan respectively. Biton, on form, is probably one of few players currently with us who is at home in Europe.

    Stefan Johansen is someone who I'd like to see regain form but it is looking unlikely. If he could then that would be another excellent option to have.

    He is at Barcelona. He was promoted for the B squad in 2014. They saw enough to want to keep him as a reliable keeper. He's only played a handful of games for Barca since then, but thats simply because he's got world class talent ahead of him. All I'm getting at is that Barcelona rate him enough to have still kept him as a 3rd choice keeper, even when they could have easily went out and bought one and sat him on the bench. He has enough quality for them to have no released him, and from when I have seen him play he has looked a solid keeper who I think would do well here. A loan would be a low-risk move for us; turns out an iffy player, no problem. Turns out to be what I believe is a solid keeper stuck behind top talent, and we can have a very affordable and sensible transfer for a quality player.

    I'm looking through this Richard Wilson guy on twitter, I'm not seeing this Brasanac rumour he's apparently put out there. Good to see he's a verified BBC source, but I'm not seeing what you all are :97:

    That Brasanac looks a really good player. He's exactly the type of player we need to solidify the midfield. If we snapped up him and Delaney, we'd boss Scotland.
