Suggested him before but 17 goal 6'4 Michiel Kramer of Ado Den Haag who are 13th in the Eredivisie , well worth a punt.

Chelsea: Gael Kakuta - Would be good but I think he'll get offers from La Liga

Crystal Palace: Brede Hangeland - yes

Everton: Luke Garbutt - yes but can't see it, apparently Liverpool are looking at him

Hull City: Maynor Figueroa - yes

Leicester: Esteban Cambiasso, Marcin Wasilewski - yes

Liverpool: Jon Flanagan - yes but can't see it

Manchester United: James Wilson - on loan might be a shout

Stoke City: Peter Odemwingie - yes

West Bromwich Albion: Claudio Yacob - yes but wages would probably be too high considering strengthening other positions are more important

Aidan White released by Leeds. 23 year old attacking left back. Can't see him being on much in terms of wages and we need backup in that area.

Linked with him in the past. Wouldn't be surprised if that happened if he's one of Park's.

Darren Bent, Luke Garbutt, Youssuf Mulumbu and Claudio Yacob would all be great signings off that list in my opinion (dependent on wages). I'd imagine there would be alot of interest in all of them though.

Gerhard Tremmel may be a decent shout as a potential replacement for Zaluska.

I remember being linked with him before and being quite excited at him being a good prospect, but I've never really heard alot about him since.

Has he been released or has his contract expired? Anyone got much insight as to how well he's been doing at Leeds? Could be a cheap option with good potential.

He was quite promising up until a year ago when he injured his foot. He returned from the injury a few weeks ago but has only played 20 minutes this season.

He was released because his contract is up and he wasn't offered a new one, Leeds released 9 players today.

He sounds like he could be worth a look. If he was considered a decent enough prospect, and the injury isn't going to be an issue going forward, then I don't see us having much to lose.

The LB issue is a bit of a strange one in general. Izaguirre's a good player, and I think his dodgy performances are the result of never getting a break rather than him being a poor player. So I'm not sure if we should be spending decent money on someone to replace him, or just finding a relatively cheap/free signing to provide some cover.

    Cheers mate :50:

Could well be worth a look. Might be worthwhile to try and get him in on a trial for the next two weeks.

I think we will probably be looking at someone to challenge Emilio and eventually replace him in the long run I would like Andy Robertson right now I would be fine with signing the young LB that plays for Man City Jose Tasende

I like Robertson, and if Hull fail to beat the drop, I would hope we at least make an offer (although finances may rule us out).

I honestly think we should just look around for some 18 year old prospect and have him act as Izzy's understudy, with the intent of replacing him in a few years time (like you said). I still think Stephen Hendrie would have been a decent enough gamble. He wasn't necessarily amazing, but he had potential and was available on a pre-contract.

Robertson would be an excellent signing but I think they'll stay up and he's likely on double what we could afford to pay him.

Yeah I like Stephen Hendrie I hate that we got rid of Filip Twardzik as he was a good young back up while we trained up Emilio's replacement we still have 2 decent right backs one of them could move out there or Mulgrew could really play there if we were desperate to just train someone 16-18 for the LB spot in the future

Twardzik was never a left back though, best position was attacking midfielder.

We should try poaching some players from Ajax's youth system.

El Ghazi and Kishna are two really exciting players for example that have broken through. Would love us to produce that sort of exciting winger in the future.
