No. As much as he's an incredible poacher, and has all the attributes to be a great all round striker, he isn't anything like a hard enough worker to be successful - and that's just about the worst thing you could be as a striker within Ronny's system.

Not that there's any chance of it happening anyway.

 

For people talking about his attitude isn't that what Ronny is known for Turing players like that around

Christoper Samba and Alexendre Pato. Both available on free transfers this summer I believe. Samba would be solid at the back and Pato would be a big step up in class up front for us, however whether or not we can attract him here is another matter.

 

Samba was on 100k/week at Anzi Makathchajaklalak and Pato must have been on atleast 80k in Brazil. Wages man

 

Samba is to old ( prefect player for the team though if he was 5 years younger ) suggested Pato myself obviously really really talented if he could get over his injury problem's he could be a 30million pound player

 

Not really hes 30 at the moment and will be 31 in the summer. Agree that wages would be probably be the stumbling block, as personally wouldn't be breaking the current wage structure for him, which I'd imagine means most we would probably offer could be 20k a week.

Pato was very ambitious thinking from me and I've just looked into it more and apparently Hull tried to sign him on loan in January but move fell through because he's on 60k a week. Was a nice thought though :smiley-laughing002:

 

I was going to suggest signing Cassano but imagine him playing Ronny's pressing game he'd literally die

 

Samba is a good shout, but wages might still be riding high in his head.

I'd like to see Celtic go for Danny Wilson too.

We're defo going to need centre halfs.
