    Nicklas Bendtner is a free agent. I know he is a bit of a joke figure but he is actually the type of striker we have been crying out for. He has good and bad seasons at Arsenal but has delivered at all the clubs he has been loaned out to bar Juventus as he didn't get much game time.

    His international record is impressive. If we sell Forster Pantillimon would be a good replacement as another poster pointed out.

    His wages will be too high for us though, probably earning something in the region of £60k a week and you can bet there will be clubs in England willing to match his demands, probably one of the teams just up or something.

    It is by no means certain, after spending a year resting up on an inflated salary, that he can come back to Celtic and have the same number of chances created for him as when he was a first time bhoy .
    It rarely that returning bhoys perform as well.

    Seems to be a bit of a prospect in real life too, told Brondby he wants to leave this summer and try something new. Thought to be worth around £3m.

    Always impressed by Ikechi Anya and he had a great game for Scotland last night. He's still at Watford so don't think he would cost too much and is a Glasgow lad so would probably fancy the step-up. Be nice to have some pace and trickery in the wide areas and when used on the right his crossing is decent, plus he's a versatile player to have.

    This for me too. He's also strong on both sides, and more than capable of starting on the left and cutting inside onto his stronger foot. Would love us to bring in him on the left and Snodgrass on the right - would be a v good pair of inside-forwards to use either side of someone like Commons/Stokes behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.

    I've only seen anya a few times but I've never been impressed. He is fast but not much else , his crossing looks really poor as does his touch. When I've seen him he's beaten his man quite often but nothing seems to come of it.

    In the Tippielaegen it seems to be all about the Icelander VIDAR ÖRN KJARTANSSON.

    21 goals in 30 odd games last season, this season 11 goals in 11 games.

    That's where i'd put the money and he'd be pretty cheap too compared to Makienok.
