    The next player off the Santos talent conveyor belt, Geuvânio. Six goals and ten assists this Paulistão. Watched the second half of the Santos 4 x 0 Ponte Preta game this week, was good. Played on the right-wing and cut inside to score a great goal. When they beat Corinthians 5 x 1 he proved to be real hand full as he cut in off the wing to provide an assist for Bruno Peres.

    Craig Gordon was good in his day. I am gutted that it turned out the way it did for him.

    If Forster were to leave I guarantee we would be all over him. Disappointment though. He hasn't been playing for a while.

    Don't know why I'm posting this cause it will never happen but Aaron Hunt is leaving werder on a free this summer after not being able to negotiate a new deal. He has carried werder for the past couple of years but in reckon he will end up at a top bundasga side or moving to England as he is half English

    Can see him going to Stoke to reunite with Arnautovic. He's also got that physical side that they like in an attacking mid. Would take him here any day of the week, of course, but you're right: it probably won't happen.

    John Guidetti. Says Feyenoord wants him back and that he costs about 2 mil. I think he would do great in Celtic, and he needs a new challenge. Mjällby and Lustig can lure him over maybe?

    I would take Guidetti in a heartbeat - now is our opportunity to pick him up on the cheap as well with Stoke not utilising him properly and his reputation falling slightly because of it.

    Only 21, scored a barrel load at unders level and in Holland and would be a fantastic signing which fits our current signing policy.

    I watched Guidetti a lot when he played for Feyenoord, at the time Dutch games were on a lot and the highlights and I always felt he was overrated. He was an average player who scored a lot of goals in the box and the odd penalty. Not sure if he's any better than Stokes, Watt or Griffiths.

    We need a striker who can lead the line in Europe.

    Guidetti I would take - is he any better or more capable than Griffiths to step up a level, we don't know.

    As for Gordon, greta keeper in his day, if he can get playing again, he could find that form, but he has been out the game for awhile and I would rather a punt on Fabianski to be honest - over Gordon based on todays standing.

    Right i'm gonna throw a name into the hat that nobody will probably agree with.

    Aaron Doran from Inverness Caley Thistle. Plays right, left and central midfield. Good with both feet. 7 goals and 8 assists this season.

    Last season he chipped in with 13 assists.

    He's not the tallest and maybe not someone you'd initially think of, but he's maybe a big reason why McKay has scored so many goals.

    For maybe 500-700k, i reckon it's a good we deal in case something happened to Kris Commons and someone that can pick up a few different positions. Scores some cracking goals, good delivery as well.

    Add to that Jakob Ankersen from Esbjerg, an attacking/defensive/pacy right midfielder, and i reckon we'd be on the right track.

    With the success of Van Dijk coming from the Eredivisie maybe we should take a look at some of the other defenders there who might be suited to playing for us.

    Michael Uchebo on a free from Cercle Brugge. Nigerian international, plays as a right winger, but i wonder if he could maybe play a couple of different positions.

    At 1 meter 94, he's good in the air, fast with a good touch. Something a bit different maybe.
