    Efe Ambrose has arrived England to complete a transfer to English Championship side Blackburn Rovers from Scottish champions Celtic.

    The 28 year old has been out of favour at Celtic after a poor start to life under new coach Brendan Rodgers, where he committed two errors in back to back UEFA Champions League qualifiers games that almost proved costly.

    ” We are in England right now as we speak. He will undergo a medical very soon and the move will be made official”, his intermediary told Owngoalnigeria.com on phone.

    ” The paperworks are presently been handled by both teams, it should beat the deadline hopefully. Efe is happy, it’s a fresh start for him”.

    Disappointed we didn't get the Nigerian in and a few others in to solidify them for CL Qualifiers but Brendan will be preparing right now for them and as others have said he will get them in early when Summer transfer window opens with Sinclair, Dembele an a few reinvigorated bhoys in the Squad 12 months on we are in a stronger position for the Qualifiers. No Colin Kazim Richards though lol.

    Almost the perfect window , one young hopefully very good defensive midfielder in & nobody of note out . It doesn't look as if we are going to get the attacking star from Niageria in , this window , maybe next but maybe based on the experiences of other countrymen he may be getting old .
    Celtic now have got full compliment of stars & if we had brought others in , I think some of our players would become dissullsioned by not enough game time . Hopefully Brendan can bring in a few star performers early in next window .
    It appears Chelsea have the EPL sewn up yet they are reported to have offered almost £50m for our keeper & striker . Things are looking up for us .
    Rangers were prepared to take £4 m for their best four players , yet turned down £14m for Ferguson , McCollum , Madden & promising youngster Dallas

    Delighted that we held on to all our first team players.
    Mainly because it shows just how much the board are backing BR. I couldn't have imagined that lot turning down a 30m+ offer for any *. Also backing him to offer a 34 year old keeper a bumper new deal instead of cashing in 3m+.
    Really looks like BR has full control of the reigns.
