Get kris Boyd in for a tap of 50k. Fatty will get into double figures, and will fit right right into the new gaffers philosophy

I know Peter Lawell wouldn't do that but just saying would be great if we had a board willing to invest in youth, Scottish youth with the exception of Ciftci

BBC World Service reporter John Bennett: "In France, L'Equipe newspaper say West Ham and Celtic are interested in the Cameroon international centre-back Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik.

"Real Betis are also expressing an interest.

"You may recognise the name - Jean-Armel is the son of Andre Kana-Biyik, who was sent off in the opening game of the 1990 World Cup against Argentina."

We've shifted two "dead wood" players out on loan and it's only midday. There's a chance that the freed up wages will be used for something.

Just been chatting to Sammy Lee on his Monday morning visit to my shop and he says Southampton are still in talks with Celtic about VVD - that they haven't really stopped even though they wanted him and Forster in the same deal.

Did my best to sell him Ambrose and our strikers but his reply cut me to the bone when you told me to f off as he watched our game yesterday....

If Norwich pay Hooper as much as, or more than, we pay Brown, then it definitely won't happen. We refuse to pay it.

On other hand Pukki & Balde have been on cards for some time, so think they've been planned. Anything that comes in has got to be last minute, 'we've got to do something'.

Presume we had a sell-on in the sales contract, so more money in.

I'm seeing us linked with United's Armstrong. That would be a solid signing.

Not a striker right enough, but still.
