Who was the Brondby striker being talked about in another thread a few days ago. Looked a big target man, and had a good scoring record. Actually looked better than Scepovic. I'd like him.

All well saying that right enough, we'll end up with hee haw.

 

If we had made it to the CL group stages he would have been a Celtic player by now.

He would have come here to play CL football but he's not going to come here to play in the Scottish League.

BUT...every player likes money and after getting knocked out of the CL if we had offered him an extra 5-10 thousand a week that might have been enough to persuade him. Could be a case of penny pinching again.

 

We offered him a pair of boots a season. What more if he wanting.

 

I hear this about last ditched attempt to get a striker, well the only way that Ronny will have seen them is if they've played in Scandanavia or will come from games we've played so far. So on basis that he isn't mega happy with Stokes/Griffiths why is he going to be satisfied with Mr A N Other. It's a gamble and doesn't make any sense.....although Jermaine Defoe is leaving Toronto and they've had a enquiry from somewhere and his Agent also looks after Artur Boruc, Aiden McGeady & Robbie Keane ????????

QPR have reportedly offered Toronto £6.5 million for him, and he's currently on close to £100,000 per week.

I doubt we'll be interested in that, especially since he's been blighted by injury and is currently out until the end of September.

Brown would do well and improve our midfield, but it's a striker we need more than anything else. Scott Brown returning from injury won't sort out the fact we can't score for * in Europe.

 

We should offer 5-7 million for GMS,Ciftci and Armstrong.

 

If that was the case, we should have just got Owen Coyle in. He plays a 4-4-2 I think. The fact is, we hired Ronny Deila, someone who the board will have know wanted to play the formation that we have seen so far. So the board had to be prepared to buy into it, and to back him. He has been handed a massive £0.00 to improve the team and to try and get players in to fit into the system. If we aren't prepared to let him build his own team and implement the style of ootball he wants, then what was the point in getting him in the first place.

 

i think we need s.armstrong need another broony type player like lennon/lambert you're right though bud do need a striker one that can score goals
