I have just heard about this thread :smiley-laughing002:. Surely 'Transfers Out Deadline Day' is far more accurate :54:. Or can this thread be renamed 'No Money Spent On Transfers Deadline Day' :56:

    This is depressing...

Let's hope we haven't put all our eggs into one basket with Scepovic !!

We need a LB, CM, and two strikers..

If we sell Virgil after Deila's comments yesterday he's done!

Players don't get work permits and pass medicals and then say * off!

As was seen with Sceptovic. We want to spend money and sign players but they don't want to come here.

Pedro is right good tim. Right good tim.

Football clubs with extensive scouting networks and millions of pounds worth of income should absolutely not be in a position where it is the last day of the transfer window, they are yet to spend a penny on a squad in desperate need of investment, and they have zero back-up plan for when a deal with a second division Spanish team's Serbian striker falls apart.

Does anyone know the last time Celtic never actually bought a player for a fee in the transfer window.

I'm actually quite curious to see if Celtic are going to panic-buy some actual quality, after the Scepovic deal collapsed.
    I can hope anyway.

Holy * just seen that the Serbian striker cancelled the move.

This may just be the worst time to support Celtic in the last 10 years

Yes I am somewhat sceptical about the reasoning, especially after observing our transfer dealings this summer. Still it keeps our proud :)52:) record of having spent no money on transfers this summer intact. Only 12 hours to go, Celtic PLC stay strong and keep those purse strings pulled extra tight. Just think of the shareholder dividend pay outs and Exec bonuses that can be earned (allegedly). The quality of the football team is not important, it's all about the bottom line (allegedly) :31:

Well Man Utd just got a loan striker on deadline day.

Anything can happen. Come on Pedro!

They do when they're already based in Spain and a La Liga club come in for them at the last minute.

I still think we need a goalie, I don't trust gordon to last the season fitness wise and zaluska is garbage

Even Hooper on loan? Why would Norwich loan him out?

Yes let's dream about that for now. We can then wake up at 2300 this evening realising it was only a dream with the possible nightmare that VVD and KC were sold for profit earlier that day to be replaced by Lustig moving to play in central defence and Berget playing in the hole behind the strikers. Such an exciting day :smiley-laughing002:
