These lads get it. Much like a poor value car lease, a bad contract can financially cripple you for years to come.

Yes we have been * in this window, I am not happy either. But we can't be chucking money about, and we chucked a * of a lot away last season.

So me wanting us to sign a striker on a permanent contract, am I not a logical supporter? Am I asking for too much? You happy with this transfer window?

See my last post. And I am not talking about our general transfer policy, I am referring to people who think Lawwell is some sort of skinflint as if he pockets any spare change we have.

So yes, if you think Lawwells actions are for anything but protecting the future viability of the club, you are illogical. Idiotic really.

I think its all very simple. Either you have ambitions, and try to make the best of the situation or you step down if you start blaming others. There is not only a lack of investment, but a lack of idea how to take this club forward. Maybe we need some new guys in charge if they can't handle it.

This is the most appalling transfer window ever.

We could sign 5 players and they could all get injured as well. Does that mean we shouldn't sign anyone now. The injury argument is a silly one mate, because that could happen to any player. You can't sign someone with the view that they are going to be injured a lot, otherwise we might as well sign no one.

Jesus Christ do you not see that an injured 30k/week player is a * of a lot worse than a 5k a week one?!

Keep lapping up his stories mate, you're obviously a better supporter than me. I'm just idiotic clearly. Of course Lawwell wants to see us succeed, but he wants to try and do it with spending bare minimum, and it's come back to bite us on the * this year.

Its not 'silly' the bottom line is we cant spend 5 mil or so on one payer or say 15-20 mil in a window to try and get CL cause if the player is a flop or gets a long term injury or we dont qualify for CL then it will cripple our club.

No it isn't up to 6.30 we have only sold or transferred out one player of any importance and he has been replaced by arguably as good a keeper .

that is the most stupid thing I've ever heard! We shouldn't sign a good quality expensive player on the off-chance that he might get injured a lot? So therefore you're happy with this window then? A few loan signings and £0 spent on anyone?

And do you not see, that signing a player with a view of him being constantly injured is completely moronic. We could sign 5 players on 6k p/w, and they could all get serious injuries. It's a ridiculous argument.
